Sad. With so much potential, but falls so short

Such a lovely location and such a disappointing hotel. The front desk receptionist was a very pleasant lady and that may be all the good I can say about the hotel. My room was sad. The beds were very hard. The first night I itched and scratched all night long; it was better the second night, I think the bed linens were fresher. The refrigerator in the bathroom was just depressing, as was the broken toilet roll holder and the lack of shampoo and conditioner. I'm also not a fan of a note on the bedside table reminding you to tip the housekeeper. I know it's hard sometimes, but it's tacky. Now the hotel was very quiet and I did appreciate that, but I think that's due to it being slightly off-season. The place has beautiful grounds, they just need to bring the interiors back to life.

Great spot if you want to be in Harbor Springs without paying too much

Great spot if you are in Harbor Springs for a regatta, golf or the scenic views. Great continental breakfast! Comfortable mattress! Reasonable walking distance to anything.

2 star all the way

It is what the price suggests, a decent place at a reasonable price. Not bad, not great but not high $$$ either. Overall a good option for a budget trip to Harbor Springs.
