    This hotel is a great place to stay, if you're a first time visitor to Morocco. We didn't know what to expect, and the hotel was wonderful. Exceedingly friendly staff, especially the front desk when we had a hard time finding our reservation. Very patient. Good food and nice pool area. I read that it was noisy because of the downstairs club, before we came, but it's really not that bad. The bathroom was very nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had a nice view of the pool, but I did see the ocean view from a friends room, which was great. Although I would not recommend using the beach, when I go back to Casablanca, I will definitely stay here again.

    We stayed at Club Val D Anfa one night prior to our departing flight from Morocco due to its proximity to the airport. The hotel sinks backed up and did not drain. The room had windows to the outside hallway that did not close properly so the noise from the hallway could be heard in the room. Additionally, the walls had no insulation so the noise of traffic, construction and the bar crowd at 4 am could be heard as though it were right in the room. Needless to say we did not sleep that night.

Location. The contemporary Club Val D Anfa stands within flowering gardens that border the beach in Casablanca, Morocco. The Equestrian Club, a fitness center and a tennis club are located 100 metres from the hotel, and a cinema shows films 500 metres away.

Hotel Features. Basmane prepares authentic Moroccan cuisine, and Le Bistrot presents seafood and Italian dishes in an al fresco setting. La Lagoon Bleu affords sea views and serves international cuisine. Function facilities accommodate up to 500 people. An outdoor pool is surrounded by sun terraces, and there is direct access to the beach. A spa with hammam is on site, as well as a sauna, beauty treatments, and therapeutic massage services. Parking is complimentary. The front desk is attended 24 hours a day, where guests receive currency exchange assistance.

Guestrooms. The four-story Club Val D Anfa offers 61 air-conditioned guestrooms with views of the pool or the gardens. All accommodations display traditional Moroccan décor consisting of Fez tapestries, marbles, stuccos and local materials. Room amenities include complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, satellite television, direct-dial telephones, minibars and separate sitting areas. Private bathrooms contain separate bathtubs and showers, and makeup mirrors. Small pets are permitted.

Expert Tip. Guests needn't stray too far to enjoy Moroccan nightlife. The hotel hosts nightly live music and entertainment in the nightclub and bar.

Minimum check-in age is 18.
