Trip Type: Special Event Review 1 of 39Small Room
The room was extremely small, even for a NYC room. There was no lobby! On the other hand the location is great, and the rooms were clean and modern. Staff was helpful

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 39Clean and secure with excellent amenities
The hotel lobby, hallways, and room were very clean. The elevator is secure (won't go to your floor if you don't have your room key). There was free wireless and ethernet service, and free document printing. Free bottled water was a nice touch. Overall an excellent hotel for an excellent rate.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 39Small but great location.
This is a very clean, very well located hotel in the heart of Rockefeller Center. The only issue I had was with the size of the room which is to be expected for the location. Also, there is very little privacy between the bathroom and living area since the two are only separated by a sliding, frosted glass door. The bar next to the hotel was great however and had a fun atmosphere complete with mechanical bull. I would stay here again but might try to upgrade the room if I could.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 39Great Hotel
This was my first trip to New York City and had plans to go to a concert at Radio City Music Hall and also wanted to be close to theaters and Time Square. I could not have asked for a better location. I had an early flight into NYC and arrived at the hotel at 9:30 AM. To my surprise they had a room ready for me. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful going over and above what most hotel staff would do. The room, while small was well organized and quiet. Free internet. Free bottled water was available on every other floor. Lovely restaraunt. Room rates I felt were reasonable for this location. I would most definitely stay there again.

Forgetting the small room size, this property was otherwise very good. Easy check in and check out, friendly staff, and a great mid town location.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 39overpriced, underserviced
Hard to find - has very small door with poor signage. Asked for 2 beds, got a bed and a pull-out that wouldn't actually pull out! Also, the bed was HARD! They have not adequately insulated to keep out some of the road noise. I was on the fourth floor and it sounded like I was on the road! I got NO sleep. Also, staffed is "not allowed" to call a Taxi for you. They try to sell you their car service, which is $20-$25 more than a taxi. Would not stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 39Just perfect
I stayed the weekend of April 24-26 and had the best time. From an efficiency expert's standpoint, the room was unbelievably well designed. The digital climate and lighting controls as well as additional cordless phone were right at bedside. The radio was neat: the time the alarm was set for was shown on the display without having to touch any buttons or slide any switches and there were pushbuttons on the top surface of the radio to select listening preference, e.g. rock, classical, easy listening, etc. Outstanding value.

Excellent location for Theater area. Room was a little small, but more than adequate. Free WiFi is a plus. Could use maps or brochures in room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 39Don't use the phones
I used the land line for 1 local call that lasted 5 minutes, while my cell phone was charging. I ended up with a $39 charge to my credit card. This is a total scam and a reputable hotel should not even offer such an outrageous service. This hotel has a nice outside terrace. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use it to get a drink with friends, we were told that it was "closed for a private party". We sat at the indoor bar and when we left after an hour, the private party had not even started. Not a good service experience.
