Broadway and Times Square are two blocks away, and shopping on the famed Fifth Avenue is one-half block from the hotel. Three blocks away, the Rockefeller Center offers views of the city from the 70th-floor Top of the Rock observation deck.
Hotel Features. The Club Quarters Midtown's dining room has been restored to resemble the original 1903 space with white molding, high ceilings and oil portraits. The hotel lobby showcases marble pillars and high ceilings. Amenities include meeting space, an on-site fitness room, complimentary wireless Internet access and complimentary morning coffee.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the the Club Quarters Midtown feature colorful modern artwork and mahogany furniture. Room amenities include pillowtop mattresses, complimentary wireless Internet access, large desks with ergonomic chairs, LCD televisions and CD players. Bathrooms feature satin-finished stainless steel and granite vanities.
Expert Tip. The building opened in 1903 as the meeting place for the Chemists' Club, and was converted to a hotel in 1994. The Chemists' Club, which began meeting in 1898, continues to gather at venues including the Club Quarters Midtown.
