About 4 blocks from bourbon. Surrounding neighborhood walking down canal was a little shady, but for the price we paid wasn't a bad hotel. The 3 doubles was definately a good idea!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 97Good Value
The hotel staff was friendly; the room was clean; and the hotel is located within convenient walking distance of Bourbon Street. Minor complaint: some of the equipment in the fitness room was out of commission. Overall, an excellent value.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 97I Would Never Stay at this Hotel Again and Wouldn't Recommend it to Anyone !!!!!
This hotel is located on Canal Street in not far from the Superdome and Arena. We thought it would be a good place to stay due to the advertisement on hotels.com. It was horrible. The people at the desk gave us problems from the start. They told us that their parking lot was empty and we would need to let them park our car in an offsite garage for $22, even though it was advertised as $14. Then they wanted us to sign a waiver that even though they were parking our car offsite they wouldn't be responsible for any damages if anything happened while it was parked by them. Then we were assigned to what was suppose to be a Queen Suite, but was actually a Queen Closet with a TV. That smelled like fresh paint. That looked like the maids just put clean linen on the bed, but didn't do anything else. We happened to take a look out the window only to find that our view was actually the top of roof with a big air conditioning unit 2 feet from the window. The toilet ran so loud we couldn't take to anyone on the phone. The room didn't have a iron/ironing board. We called for one that didn't work properly and damaged my husband's one shirt that he brought to wear so we had to go out and purchase another prior to attending the functioned that we drove to New Orleans to attend. We were finally able to get enough attention to talk to the Hotel Manager. I can't remember his name, but he did come to our room to see what he could do to help. He explained that he would move us to another room so after our function, we gathered our belongings and moved to two other rooms that were much nicer and comfortable. However, because of all the confusion at the beginning, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 97Great Room for the Money
The staff was young, but eager to please. The rooms were clean with a little kitchenette and the beds very comfortable. There seemed to be some ongoing renovations, but they did not in-convenience the guests. The location to all NO venues was great. Their no smoking policy is great: $200.00 addition to your bill if caught. We'll be back.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 97Perfect Stay
The location was great. The room my family sayed in was immaculate. It was was so clean. Parking cost $14.00 a day, but ur vehicle is locked up @ night. You can still get your car out @ night if you want. The fridge was clean. Microwave was clean. Bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly. Not far from the French Quarters. Hotel smelled nice, not the usual stale smoke and murky smell. Elevator was clean. LOVED IT!!! Will only stay @ this hotel from here on out when in New Orleans.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 97Great
The staff is very polite and prfessional. The room and bathroom was clean. The room is small but its perfect for a little getaway for you and your honey. The only problem is the walk to the French Quarters and Bourbon St. is a little long especially in the New Orleans heat. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and for the price it was better then I expected.

The room was okay. Could have been better. The curtains were falling and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Needs improvement, but was a clean place to lay our heads after a busy day at the zoo.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 97Good for the price
Hotel is on remodelation by Jul 2009. Breakfast area is small, has two elevators that are not available when a lot of people trying to go down. Other than that it is a good hotel located close to the attractions. Hotel has parking only in open lots, but they have security.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 97Six blocks from Bourbon Street
The hotel is fine but they charged $14.00 a day parking fee at a lot across the street and closed it at 9:00pm and you had to go to hotel to ask a person to open it after 9:00. The continental breakfasts were fine. It's too far from Harrah's. Lots of police arrests across the street and on Canal Street. There were two bus stops too close to the hotel with many local residents commuting.
