    City Hotel is really city-center. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean; amenities are standard, but the breakfast is spectacular, even by Scandinavian buffet standards. It's worth staying here for breakfast alone!

Situated eight kilometres from the Arctic Circle and Santa Claus Village, the modern City Hotel is surrounded by snow six months of the year. The 91 warm-toned guestrooms are decorated with dark wood antique-style furniture and feature television with pay movies minibars and hair dryers. Guests can also go online using the complimentary high-speed Internet connection.

In winter, chilly guests can thaw out in the saunas or in front of a blazing fireplace in the top floor lounge. On the same level is the conference centre which caters for up to 80 delegates. Active guests will receive discounted access to the nearby fitness centre; while guests with cars will find free on site parking with car heating points to combat the cold.
