Staff extremely friendly, great location

Clean, accomodating, spacious and located close to main attractions. The cost was reasonable, but the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The underground parking is tight and little confusing.

Good Hotel

The Citadines rooms were clean and roomy - great for our family of four. The fold out bed wasn't very comfortable. The rooms look better in the advertisements - there was no artwork on the walls for example. The kitchenette was fine. There was no early morning coffee available until after 10 am unless you paid 15€ for breakfast - a steep fee. You had to walk 2 blocks to the nearest Metro stop for coffee. There was a business room with a computer, but it was running Windows 2000 and it performed unreliably. We couldn't check in online with our airline and print boarding passes, a normal service at modern hotels in major cities today. The Hotel location was ok. Our room faced the Brussels ring road and traffic noise was high most of the time. It was a short walk to the Avenue Louise shopping area, a formerly upscale area, that now mixes high prices with street litter. It's a very long walk to the Grand Place. There was a DelHaize Grocery in the same block as the Hotel for those that cook in.
