Such a bad hotel

I spent only one night at this hotel. The first impression made bad by the pickup van. the front passenger seat was wobble and there are a lot of tapes pasting around the van. The lobby is nice, but the scene totally changed as I went into my room. Smelly and dark. The shower turned cold and hot every one minute and the water did not drain well at all. Air conditioner's cover suddenly fell off. It was such a bad night there. I will never ever come back to that place anymore. I hope you don't either.

Overall good

It is a good hotel on the whole, considering the price and the service. The bed is not very comfortable but it's clean so it's OK with me. The bathroom is very clean with nearly everything you need except for toothbrush and toothpaste. The hair drier is good. The shuttle is convenient and helpful. In the morning, it takes ONLY ME to the Cumberland subway station. I really appreciate that. One problem is that I live on the second floor and the window cannot be shut thoroughly, which keeps me worrying for the whole night. Last, I think it's a little far when the subway doesn't work. On the whole, it's an excellent hotel.

Decent Stay

The hotel itself was in decent shape. The room was clean, but the bed was not a king like the room reservation said. My hallway smelled like marijuana, but I couldn't smell it in my room. Wireless is ONLY in the lobby and there is no internet connection of any kind in the rooms. My bathroom door handle was broken and I almost got trapped in the bathroom, but management seemed concerned and promised to fix it. I only stayed one night so I do not know if they actually followed up.

Great room for the money

i spend two nights there and was OK, room cleaned, secure location, next to restaurants and easy access from expressways, bed was really soft and comfy

Do not follow my mistake of being lured by the price..not worth it.

There was so many things wrong with this establishment. The service was okay but the bed was disgusting. We had to lay onto of the bedspread because of the stains on the bed and pillows.

solid room for the money

I've stayed at several hotels in the O'Hare airport area over the years and even tho this may not be the most elegant, it most definitely is the best bargain out there! Convenient location with comp shuttle to & from ORD and an always friendly staff is def a plus. Even tho the in-house restaurant is no longer in operation, there are several little neighborhood eateries within a block or two's walk (Italian, Thai, and breakfast/lunch diner). Not to mention the Hooters that is right next door to the hotel. Also, a major grocery store is located just 2-3 blocks down the road. And if ya desire finer establishments, there are quite a few within a 5 min drive (or cab ride) from the hotel. My only complaint would be that the hotel no longer offers the option of in-room refrigerators. Otherwise, this place is a wonderful, no frills option for the area. If ya want a pool, a state of the art exercise room, a comp breakfast, free in-room wifi, etc...go to the big names nearby. But if ya wanna save money and have a quiet place to rest your head at night - you've come to the right place.

Value for money

Don't expect great things. Great location - walkable distance from the Blue line. Clos to the airport. Complementary Express breakfast was not good (actually there was no breakfast). Poor maintenance. But value for money. Good for travellers who go to the hotel only to sleep and have to travel frequently to the downtown.
