Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 132A very nice place to stay
When we checked in I explained it was our first time there and asked if they would have a mountian view room even though we booked a traditional. We were offered a suite for no extra charge ! We were thrilled until we found out it had a small bed. So we switched back to the room we booked which we were very comfortable in. We really enjoyed Galiano's Italian restaraunt too. Great soup ! The desk clerck was very friendly and accomadating. We will stay again in the future.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 132Nice Hotel
We stayed here on a Poconos Race weekend. The hotel was clean and quiet. Nice views. Liked the indoor hot tub. Would recommend to others.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 132Can't anybody here play this game?
Incredibly non-responsive and thoughtless service. Despite six weeks' advance notice and paying additional charge for four occupants, we had to request towels for four people on all three days of our stay. Room was not made up on our final day, despite vacancy half the morning and all afternoon. When towels were not delivered after calling for them on the last day, the person manning the desk, when confronted face to face, denied a call was received/relayed. Only one waste basket for the two rooms (bath and bedroom). No DO NOT DISTURB/MAID REQUEST sign, despite this being used as a possible explanation for why the room wasn't made up. No mirror in bedroom.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 132Run far away!
The hotel was in such a state of disrepair that we almost left immediately. As it was we left a night early and just swallowed the prepaid bill. The room had an odor that got worse when the air conditioning was on - the tub would neither drain from a shower nor hold water for a bath - the pool water was murky and the paint from the stairs and sides was chiiped and floating in the pool - the food was mediocre at best and we were not offered a menu at breakfast only the overpriced buffet even though we had a choice - the restaurant bathroom smelled of raw sewage.

The best part of the hotel was the location. It is close to the waterpark and the outlets. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. The bath tub was backing up when I had a shower. I called the front desk and they said that the maintenance crew gets there at 8 am. No one showed up till we checked out. The indoor pool was nice. They have a nice deck off the lobby that overlooks the beautiful mountains.

The hotel was very close to CamelBeach Water Park and the view from the hotel is very scenic. The room (bathroom mainly)was not the cleanest and bathroom supplies were at the very minimum (2 towel sets for 4 people). Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Hotels.com needs to inform customers that the free breakfast does not include children even though the customer rep said it included all four guests.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 11 of 132Beautiful scenery (but not from our room)
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the scenery was beautiful in the back of the hotel by the pool. The hotel is near the outlets, golf, and Mount Airy Lodge casino. Other than that, there's not much to do in the area. Our room (#3301) was small and our view was of a rooftop with air conditioner units all over it. Other rooms had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the mountains (but that was not available to us at the internet price).

The room was not well cleaned. Sheets were never changed during five nights, just folded.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 132Convenient loction
My family and I stood in the Chateau Resort in July '09. Very conenient location if you want to go to the waterpark its literally 2 min or less away. And also very close to the outlets. Our room was nothing to brag about, it was clean but was very basic. Pools are small, great view of lake though. Nice place may stay again due to location of the place.
