Needs improvement to be a four star hotel

This hotel has a great location, nice views. Was probably a grand place at one time but is worn around the edges, a bit stuffy, and needs updates. It has a ski lodge feel, the restaurant was the highlight. Hotel staff were pleasant, but did not go out of their way to be friendly or make our stay enjoyable. The prices at the spa are still a mystery, no one could tell me how much anything cost or when it was open. In one of our rooms the beds were rock hard, in the other the beds were comfortable. Overall, attention to detail was lacking (ie batteries in remote dead, half empty shampoo bottle left in bathroom) and it did not live up to my expectations for the money or for a four star restort. However, if you are in Quebec to ski/mountain bike/hike, this would probably be a great place for you.

Needs Updating

This hotel was clean but certainly needs updating in rooms and hallways. It seems still stuck in the 70's. The exterior needs repairs done on deck and balcony facings.

Found hotel dark and not clean feeling or looking. Hard to accomplish with kitchnettes I realize but could be brighter and cleaner for sure. Skiing was great and walk on slopes are the best!

Nice one

It's a nice comfortable hotel, with very good staff & service. Once out of the building, the views are awesome with Mount St Anne at behind ... and a few miles down the road is the Orleans Island view. Location is secluded, yet close to shops & dinning places. (We never used the restaurant of the hotel). The room was quite big, spacious, and with enough furnitures for a comfortable stay. The kitchen in the room was also okay, with a mini refrigerator, oven & utensils ... no microwave ovens though. No complimentary breakfast is served here. The parking close to the building is very cramped ... but the bigger parking lot is quite spacious. We had a medical emergency, and the hotel staffs were kind enough to guide us and direct to the nearby hospital. Overall, we loved staying in this hotel.

Needs a renovation

The hotel is located close to outdoor activities and a 40 minute drive from Quebec city. One of our bed mattresses had to be replaced the first night as the springs were broken. As the hotel is about 17 years old it needs to be renovated and mordern amenities put in the rooms.

Excellent service and great comfort

We were expecting it to be just an average hotel but were suprised with all the amenities that this hotel provided. My kids absolutely loved their stay since they had all of the favourite features available to them ie, Swimming, Games Arcade, Unlimited use of the Interenet, Hot Tub, Pool Room. The food was excellent and the service was great. We would definitly go back and enjoy Skiing this time as well.
