The hotel was comfortable and well run. The air conditioner went out one night but was fixed promptly the next day. The shuttle service to Old Quebec was timely and efficient. One time the shuttle was stuck in traffic and the hotel called me a taxi and paid for it. Bar prices a bit steep. A beer and a coke hit mid teen double digits. No complaints really.

I feel neutral about our choice of Chateau Bonne Entente. It is located in a residential neighborhood, which was quite surprising. I would say that nothing compels me to choose it again. The bedroom was large but not distinctive. Couch needs replacing and the blinds are difficult to work if you want to open the crank-open windows (a great feature, though, being able to open windows for fresh air.) Air conditioner intermittently noisy and annoying. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. The on-site Amerispa is a real bonus.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 4Amazing room, Spa was disappointing
The Chateau Bonne Entente opened me up to the world of amazing hotel rooms. Granted the room I was in was probably one of there best. unfortunately the onsite spa, Amerispa was less than dazzling. It's open until 11pm but were unable to book me a massage with less than 24 hrs in advance. Since, I was only staying one day, one of the staff there helped me book a spa treatment outside of the hotel. Thanks Christine! Breakfast, internet, happy hour and night cap were all included with the room. This is true luxury!

We stayed in a distinctive room. The room was excellent, the bedding was very nice. The multijet shower was amazing. The only bad thing about the room was the mattress which was very firm. I suspect if we had asked they could have provided some form of mattress topper to correct it. The staff was very helpful. Do not eat at the connected restaurant, the Monte Cristo. The menu was bare, it was overpriced and the food quality was less than mediocre. My $10 salad consisted of three peices of lettuce and some stale croutons. There are many other great choices in town. We will definitely stay here again.
