Great room, historic flavor, very quite room with a great bed and quite HVAC.

Stuck in their own glory day minds!

The hotel was nice and the new upgrades to the rooms are very modern and nice. BUT, they think that they are "all that and a bag of chips" and they are not! Their an hotel that in it's hey day - in the 30's or 40's was THE center of the elite. Unforuntely, their attitude shows it. This is probably a great hotel for weddings and stuff, but not very good for business travelers. There is no wi-fi in the rooms (and the 3 foot ethernet cable is a joke!) When I called to get a longer cable, they sent me the exact same kind, then said there were NO other cables in the hotel. The staff at the hotel was friendly, but didn't seem to really care about solving any problems. It was kind of like "we're the coolest hotel in town - in our own minds - so while we hear you, we're not going to really do anything about it to fix it." Personally, I'd rather be told "no, that's not something we do" vs. the patronizing and pretending I got! Finally, the tub in my room was dirty when I got there and was never really cleaned during my stay. Again, it seemed as if the cleaning staff was just half-assing it and thinking that "good enough" truly was! It's not a flea bag hotel or a bad place, but I will not stay there again because of the lack of business person perspective, but more because of the "holier than though" type of attitude.

Outstanding location, within walking distance to many restaurants & bars, and with it's own movie theater! Plush room, wonderful bed. Very pleasant staff.

Nice big rooms!

The room had a living room attached with a sofa bed, as well as an extra flat screen TV. Lots of room in this hotel-would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel

My husband and I stayed here to visit our daughter in town 2 blocks away. The hotel is lovely, the staff are very attentive and helpful. For example, we requested a wake-up call one morning and the phone connection didn't go through for some reason, so they had a person come knock on our door to be sure we were awake. The only downside is the buffet breakfast in the cafe at the way end of the hall. It was overpriced for what you got and didn't offer espresso drinks. The gift shop does offer specialty coffees, though. It also seems fun to go to one of the movie screens downstairs, and the Q cafe is hopping in the evenings in a good way. We will come back!

Excellent Hotel

Very well appointed and maintained hotel. Wonderful neighborhood with loads of restaurants and it is across from a fabulous park.

The Best!

Our stay at the Chase was outstanding! The room was wonderful, but most of all the staff was the best we have ever encountered. EVERYONE greeted us with a smile during the 3 days,they were very helpful and made us feel so welcome in a beautiful, clean, well-located hotel!

Watch out

Great hotel. But this time I got a room by the Mtce elevator and it was tiny. I've stayed there many times and this room was tight. The room was definately not on par with the price and expectation.

Outstanding hotel

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary and it was everything we expected and more. We were supposed to get a jr suite and when we got there they actually upgrade us to a corporate apt.. It was top of the line!

Wonderful for relaxing

One concern we had was charges for internet and phone calls. Why can you go to a Motel 6 or Super 8 and get free internet service but get charged at a hotel that costs 3-4 times as much per night? Outside of that minor irritation, we had a wonderful stay - great room, nice poolside, walk in Forest Park, great little grocery store next door, wonderful anniversary dinner in Tenderloin room, sweet waitress in EAU restaurant. Will return sometime.
