Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 129Good oceanview room
Wonderful location very close to beach. Large room. Room very hot when we got there and took small a/c hours to cool off. Halls not air conditioned and hot. We had end unit and had 2 walls of windows w/great view. Hotel not fancy but comfortable. Convenient parking.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 129Suprised by how convenient this place was, great for the money we spent
Great location right next to the beach, great staff. Although their restaurant was closed they gave us vouchers for dinner at their sister hotel nearby. Only setbacks was how early the pool closed and the expensive parking.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 129Good location
The hotel is aweful, but the location was perfect. Super close to the beach & starbucks. The room is pretty dirty, and the 'lanai' is just a super tiny balcony we used for drying our bathing suits & towels. We got the 18 floor, the view was great, but the elevator was very slow and didn't seem to be in the perfect working condition. The pool, looks more like a large hot tub, the deck was also pretty messy. All in all very ghetto hotel with a good location. It's semi cheap, but I found better hotels with the same price, except they were booked up during our trip. One cool thing is that they allow 3 adults in one room without charging for the roll away bed. Oh, and the shower is a nightmare for tall people & the water pressure isn't good at all.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 129"outstanding customer service"
During our recent stay, the air conditioner in our room wasn't working right. The maintenance personel came and determined the unit needed to be replaced but none was available at the time. With no delay we were quickly tranfered to another room in the upper level of the hotel which had a much better view and cooler.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 129"Aloha spirit lives in heart of the employees"
It is far a few between to find a hotel in Waikiki where their employess is not tarnished by corporations and the ALOHA spirit lives within their smiles and customer service. The hotel is older, comfortable & clean. I would recommend this hotel, the Employees Hawaiian Hospitality is impecable. A room is a room those whom great you with warm smiles and eager assistance turns an ordinary room into paradise... Something that is slowly dimishing in Waikiki.....

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 129close to the beach
I was surprised that such an affordable hotel was only a short block to the beach. The zoo animals did make some noise late into the night and early morning, since my room was on that side of the hotel. Good value for the money.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 129Bed & Shower is all we needed
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel supplied beach towels are paper thin and not much larger than a hand towel. Beds were a little on the "hard" side. Yes the hotel is outdated but are you going to Hawaii to spend time in your hotel room or the beach? All I needed was a clean room and a shower and that's what I got. The beach was only a block away and Starbucks is on the corner as well as several ABC stores.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 129Not a "bad" place to crash ONLY!
The location is really good right next to the strip and the beach, zoo, and diamond head. But there is no AC, the hotel looks a little grungy, and the hall ways smell like smoke. But it depends on how cheap you can get a room for, but all in all its not a bad place to just "crash" after a long day or night out on the island, but keep in mind if your not on the windward side your going to wake up sweating.
