    The hotel was adequate for our needs. Our room was supposed to have a stove, but did not. None of the soda machines worked, but there were plenty of functioning ice machines. The hookers outside on the street made for some interesting atmosphere. Short walk to the beach so the location was convienent. Showers were pleasantly consistant with temperature.

The Castle Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki is located one block from Kapiolani Park and Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Diamond Head is positioned one mile away.

The lobby displays the feel of the islands with a rock wall and potted orchids. On-site dining is offered at the Ocean Seafood & Steak House. Punawai Lounge serves light dinners and hosts karaoke. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, and a high-speed Internet kiosk offers print capability. Two outdoor splash pools are surrounded by a sundeck.

This smoke-free resort offers 450 air-conditioned rooms distributed throughout two 20-story and 14-story towers. All rooms open onto furnished lanais. Room décor features teal carpets, beds with coordinating botanical coverlets and light-wood furniture. Dial-up Internet access is available.
