    This is an older facility and is undergoing significant maintenance at the moment. The rooms are an outstanding value and the one we had this time had a full kitchen including a 2 burner stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. Beds are new and very comfortable. TV service sucks, not having any of the ESPN channels but we weren't in the room except when we were asleep or getting ready to go out so not a serious problem. This is my third stay here and won't be my last.

    The door was broken...no security what so ever. There was NO ROOM service what so ever. I tired calling the front desk which they NEVER picked up. The sheets always felt moist. I think there was mold in the hotel. i do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Castaways Beach Resort in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., is on the quieter side of Daytona Beach and is convenient to shopping, dining and area attractions.

This Daytona Beach Shores resort has a restaurant and lounge with weekend entertainment, exercise room, steam room, game room, heated oceanfront pool, children's play area, guest laundry facilities and a small meeting room.

The side studios at the Castaways Beach Resort have a view of the ocean but are not directly on the oceanfront. Each unit has air conditioning, alarm clock radio, balcony, cable television and telephone. Guests will appreciate the convenience of a mini-kitchen with dishes, utensils, cookware, a mini fridge and a microwave oven.

Castaways Beach Resort appeals to budget-conscious travelers seeking an oceanfront location and the convenience of a kitchenette in Daytona Beach.

The following fees and deposits are charged by the property upon service, check-in, or check-out.
