Excellent Hotel. Great Value!

We were in Vancouver for the U2 concert and the hotel is a good location to BC Place. Cascadia is well maintained, clean and the rooms are large with a living area and small kitchen. Love the free internet access as well. Free breakfast buffet really made the value of the hotel a "can't beat." The buffet food was average but will do for free. Parking at the hotel was convenient but $19 per day which we found is typical for Vancouver parking. Pool and hot tub are very nice even though we didn't have time to use them. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was the best hotel I found for the price.

great staff

the staff was very helpful. they answered all our questions and were very attentive to our needs. the hotel was great. the view from our room was wonderful. breakfast was good. one day it was very very busy had to wait for a table to sit. would recommend this hotel to others.

Outstanding Find

We were in Vancouver for a few days. Our Hotel was far beyond our expectations. The price was excellent value. The location was outstanding, near the "expensive hotels", but not paying those prices. Room was very large, and had a kitchen. We were thrilled, and recommend it highlyto anyone. MSG

Loved this hotel.

It was our first time in Vancouver BC and we couldnd't have had a better room. It was clean and had a great view. It came with a very nice breakfast every morning and the staff was friendly. Five stars as far as I am concerned. Gladys.

Great room for the money

We stayed 4 nights and found it very convenient and comfortable. The free breakfast is excellent and the hotel has a nice indoor pool and fitness center. The only quibble was the slow elevators and lack of public stairs as an alternative.

Great hotel, but not a good location.

I have no complaints about the hotel itself. Everything was convenient and I did like the extra security with the cards (having to swipe them everywhere). It might seem like a pain, but it keeps people out who aren't supposed to be there. The beds were comfortable and the room supplied everything. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic and the service was great. The one problem I have is the location. Even though it's right in the middle of everything, which is good... the neighborhood wasn't pleasant. Too many night clubs nearby and I saw people on two different occasions doing illegal drugs out in the open. That's not something I would want to see, especially if I had kids. Other than that, I was pleased with the stay.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The equipped kitchen was a surprise though we did not have the occasion to use it. The mattress and pillows were too soft to our liking.
