    We stayed at Casa Conde two times during our week-long trip. The first night was excellent. Room was clean and large. Service was good. Breakfast is awesome! And hotel was very nice. The second time we stayed for two nights. But this time was a bit of a let down. The hot water would be super hot for about 45 seconds, then go completely cold. Hotel maintenance was speedy in responding, but was not able to fix the problem. Given the late hour and our early departure, we didn't push the issue, but the second stay and condition of the room was quite a disappointment compared to the first time we stayed there. Casa Conde really is a great value, and the rooms are really nice for people traveling in groups. The breakfast really is A++ and the security makes you feel completely safe in an otherwise seedy neighborhood. Just make sure you have a GPS or good taxi driver to find it. I'd recommend the hotel, but be sure to contact management promptly if you find any issues with your room.

    This basically is an apartment building that has been converted into a hotel. The furniture is very old and falling apart. The internet did not work in the room but was OK in the restaurant. It is in the middle of a working class neighborhood and I would not recommend anyone venturing out on their own.
