Our room smelled!! But can't beat the price

Our room had a queen and a hide a way. The hide a way had springs poking out of it. It was one of the worst night sleeps I have ever had. I don't know if these rooms are owned by someone and then just rented out when not occupied, but ours smelled horrable. The shower curtain had mold on it and the oven was a complete mess. Did I mention it smelled. Overall to stay in Park City this cheap what could I expect. I guess a little more than that!!!

Checking in can be an ordeal

Various sources online and posted at the condos said the desk would be staffed until 10 pm, 8 pm, 6 pm, and 5 pm--5 pm was what my confirming email said, so I left the slopes early and got there by 4:40. The place was locked up tight. The after-hours check-in procedure worked, but it requires calling in and reading your credit card number aloud-twice-over the phone in front of a lobby full of others trying to check in. The check-in envelope in the safe (the combination for which is given over the phone) didn't include the room combination, which required another call. Worst of all, with an after-hours check in, there is no way to get a key for the pool and hot tub! These were THE major selling point for the condos, so it sucked to not have access (I was only there one night, presumably I could have gotten a key for subsequent nights). Parking is also insufficient, with no instructions on where one can park legally once the small lot the condos share with a group of stores is full. The room itself was fine, and the price was right. It's just the operation which is disorganized.

Comfortable Room

We had a late check in..no problems with obtaining our key. Our Room was small but clean and our bed was comfortable. It was a great get away for two people. We had our own car so getting around was no problem. Would come back and stay again.

An older complex

The Carriage House condominium is an older complex, and the rooms are very plain. Staff was nice, facilities were limited. The main complaint with the room was the temperature, the room was hot, partly due to the weather, but also due to the construction of the hotel and the lack of ventilation of the water heater in the room. The only way to cool the room down was to open windows. King bed was comfortable, but sofa sleeper was not.

Good for the Money

I was a little hesitant on booking this room because of the previous reviews. We checked in around 10 pm. I called beforehand to see how to do the after hours check in. Everything went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

More Accomodating than Expected, Convenient Location

Very willing to accommodate us to a room with a larger bed. Convenient location to the Park City Resort at an affordable price.
