Carousel Inn and Suites at the Anaheim Resort

Good location

This hotel was in a good location, however there were a couple of problems, We were put in a room that had a heavy smoke odor to it. On our second day my husband spent most of the afternoon and evening with a migraine and missed out on part of out two day vacation. There was mold and peeling wallpqper in the bathroom.

Blankets were stained, mold in shower, beds not comfortable, service was horrible!

Convenient!

My husband and I were recommended to the Carousel Inn and Suites by a family member. We chose the Carousel because of its location in proximity to Disneyland, walking distance. When we checked in the staff was friendly but not super professional or acommodating. We were placed in what we were told was a more spacious, upgraded room, however, we had to lug our luggage and stroller and carseta and two year old up a flight of stairs everytime we went back to or from the room. Other than that the room was comfortable and very conveient walking distance to the park. I would recommend it for those of you who are looking for a great price!

Needs Improvement

This is the second time that me and my family have stayed here in the past two years, and I have to tell you that it has gone down hill... First we check in and the did not have the right room ready, so they put us in another room that is not what we paid for. Then the room they put us in has hardwood floors and we have a 10 month old who is learning to walk, but still crawls sometimes and within 20 min. of getting there he is covered in filth that has come off the floor. After I clean the floors twice we notice the the lock to the door does not work at all.... the door wont even shut without messing with it and the dead bolt lock is broken off!! Our last night of staying there the house keeping did not come at all, even after telling them a specific time that we would not be there. I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a good location this is it. If you are looking for a clean well kept hotel for the price you pay go somewhere else!!

Nice Bathroom

Seems like the bathrooms were just renovated and it was obvious. The room keys weren't cards but instead were chips. The only down side to the whole stay was when I was checking out. I had to wait in line patiently for over 10 minutes because only one person was at the front desk when there were clearly more employees in their office (right next to the front desk). I was annoyed because all I wanted to do was check out. When a man came out and saw me waiting in line, he went back inside without helping me. It was a huge turn off and bad way to end my vacation.

Strange Problem

The smoke alarm sounded twice during the night. Both times it turned off by itself. No smoke or fire just a bunch of startling noise. Desk clerk refunded my $5.00 parking fee.

Geat value

Our room was very clean, it was a very short walk to the entrance of Disneyland. I would stay here again!

perfect location

Great room for the price. Stayed here two nights in March of 2009. Walk across the street to Disneyland, perfect walking distance after a tiring day at the park. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
