Caribe Royale

All-around uncomfortable

Our expectations may have been a little too high for this resort (based on photos and reviews). To sum up our stay, we couldn't sleep as the beds were way too firm, and pillows much too thick. It was just too big a difference from our bed at home...not the hotel's fault. The bedding and room seemed clean, although a bit cramped...it felt like we were living in a shoe box. The living area was very uncomfortable as well - the couch and chair were very hard and scratchy. The TVs were nice, but we were disappointed that we couldn't order pay-per-view movies. We ate at the Tropicale the night we arrived, and the food was terrible, which deterred us from ordering room service during our stay (which is my favorite thing to do!). We checked out a night early, and were so happy to get home and get some sleep! We won't be staying here again.

Perfect fit for a great weekend.

Staff was excellent. Parking was a non-issue. Hotel layout and floor plans were intuitive. Pillows are huge overstuffed style (so you may want to bring your own if you would rather not have your head on a big fluffy pillow). The doors were really heavy and solid - hearing people running through the hallway was odd - seemingly you would think they would buffer a little more of the noise. Otherwise the hotel room itself and the amenities were top notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Minor Issue

The hotel was really nice, and the pool was amazing! The only issue we had was that when our daughters first took a shower the night we checked in, we had no hot water. The maintenance staff was very quick to respond and resolved the issue within 25 minutes. We had plenty of hot water for the rest of our stay.

Awesome

This hotel has everything. Big rooms, an Awesome swimming area. a 4 diamond restaurant , a 24 hour store that sales food, water and snacks, a cute parrot, I loved it and would stay there again. There is a free service to all Disney parks and if you want to save money you take the shuttle to Disney World and catch a bus for 2 dollars to Sea World. A taxi is $40 bucks. I highly recommend Arabian Nights. Ask for a yellow taxi NOT the white vans. They charge More.

Nice hotel in good location at good price

On the upside, the hotel is very nice and well maintained. Easy access to your room and plenty of parking with access to your tower/room without going through the lobby each time. On the downside, the hotel service is bad. The staff is far from corteous and need an attitude adjustment. They're absent for the most part and when finally find one s/he will most likely be grumpy.

Awesome

This place for the money is by far the best in Orando. Have been 3 straight years. First time staying here. And I WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. The pictures tell it ALL.

Great Hotel in a great location

It was a good clean and well run hotel. The staff were friendly. The swimming pool was very nice and it was only minutes from the theme parks and Downtown Disney. I was very happy with the hotel and would definately stay there again.

Great

This is a great hotel with a very friendly staff. It is very conveniently located--especially if you are coming from the south--and does not see much car traffic on the surrounding roads.

Best Value for your $$$$$!!!!!

This was our 4th time visit at Caribe Royale and we had a great time again!!!!! It is truly a 4-star hotel.. beautiful lobby, pool, common grounds, state of the art Fitness Center, gorgeous up-to-date suites, and I can probably go on forever. You just can not beat the value!!! We will be back at the end of November again...

Always Come Back

I can always count on this hotel. I have tried others that are fancier. I have tried others that are cheaper. I always come back to the Caribe Royale. The kids love it. I would come here without my kids. They are close to the parks. The only negative is that they are not one of the disney parks so you can't use the disney transit system. Other then that you can't do better then this hotel.

the only problem with the room was it was too small, the beds were also not very comfortable. However, they have a wonderful pool and great amenities.
