Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 368Great Value
This hotel is great value for the money. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the staff friendly and helpful; and the pool is enormous for the size of the hotel. I much prefer this hotel than the too-cool-for-school Ace Hotel just down the street.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 368Cozy Hotel, Great Price
I booked this hotel because of the location and rate for a last minute trip. The room is nicely done, with an excellent walk in shower. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi Fi is FREE. Had the feeling of a motor lodge I used to stay at when I was traveling with the familiy as a kid. Elmer's down the street had the best breakfast in town.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 368Another Great Night
We stayed here last week and I needed to be in the Palm Springs area again. OF COURSE I booked here. Hotel Management is great. Very nice. No special requests are ever a problem.... Looking forward to future stays.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 368It's fine
This is an older hotel that calls it self a resort. Maybe at one time, but it just a hotel with a pool. For a place to sleep it's fine. The beds were very good the room was clean. Don't expect anything fancy and you don't be disappointed. It's a good value, good internet connection and good beds. That's all we needed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 368A bit off the strip but a great hotel
When I say a bit off the strip I mean about 1.5 miles from the restaurants and shops downtown on Indian Canyon dr. You could walk there if you really wanted to. A cab cost about 10 bucks. The hotel has great character and was very clean. Look for Anna Nicole's hand prints in the cement squares by the pool. All in all this is where I would stay next time I go back.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 368Noisy
The hotel is nice but I sady had neighbors who parties until 3am and the walls are thin. I asked management to ask them to quiet down at about 2pm and I did hear them try, but they took it into their room and continued to be loud.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 368pool is to cold
I have stayed here 5 times. The pool has been cold every time. Like the hotel, but I may not come back because of the pool temp.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 368Caliente Tropic Stay
I have to say I was very disappointed in my stay with this hotel. When I checked in the person checking me in let me know they had had some power outages but they may only have one more. I appreciated the heads up. I went to my room to take a shower before going out. I found there were only two hand towels. No problem I went to the office to ask for towels. I also asked for a 5 AM wake up call. I went to take my shower to find out that there was only cold water. I called the desk and they told me that they would look into it but it was likely the hot water heaters were affected by the power outage. I was told they would look into it and if there was a problem they would get back to me. I went to bed and was woken up by the front desk calling. Though the call did not come at 5 AM as requested but 4 AM. I spent the next hour trying to get a bit more sleep. I then found out that despite what I was told the previous night there was no hot water yet again. So less than 12 hours and two cold showers, no towels and waking my up at the wrong time. I would have to say you would be best advised to not stay here in the future. While anyone can make a mistake it takes a lot to screw things up that badly. Save yourself the hassle and waste of money staying there.
