Great place for the money

Excellent location and fuly renovateed rooms with new furnishings, large flat screnn TV, etc. Some minor maintainance issues but no incovenience. Buss runs from corner to everywhere in city. Recommend!

Great Place IN SF

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel/motor court. It is always clean andspotless. It has a restaurant and is very close to Fishermans warf and the GG bridge and other eating placews are within easy walking distance or public transportation is very easily accessed. The staff is friendly and always helpful. This is truly a gem. This time I was on the 2nd floor and no noise was noticed. I always try to stay here when I go to the city.

unsatisfactory hotel

disappointed by the exterior aspect of the hotel. exiting the elevator into a dark exterior corridor. the rooms have been renovated inside and are comfortable. the outside surfaces of the door need varnishing and painting. The small restaurant on the property (Independant od the hotel) closes at 1:30 pm. the vending machine was out of order most of the time. The front desk could not change two dollars. The cleaning of the room was satisfactory. All together not good value for the price paid.

It was was people claimed it to be

Hotel was outdated on the outside, rooms were renovated on the inside. It wasn't far from the warf by bus which is right outside of the hotel. Great central location to everything for the price. Beds were comfy, carpet was yucky, bathroom was extremly clean. For the night we were there and all we needed was a bed and shower, it was great. It did have a fridge, microwave, and flat panel tv. The front desk gal was wonderful, she gave sight seeing info and had a couple of deals that stop right outside of the hotel. Would do it again, however if you want to spend a little more to be closer to the water the chain hotels were not that much more and looked nicer from the outside.

I was happy with the Inn

First I thought it's going to be a very small and kinda dirty Inn, but when I got there I was surprised, let me put it down this way... O: They have hair dryer!They're soap smells good.The windows are new.The office chair is very comfy.close to bus stops and cable car stop.The front desk lady is very helpful. X: The parking for this Inn could give you a headache,since SF's parking is so bad and pricey.The lights in the room are dim, so I have to turn on all of them.The fan in the bathroom it's quite loud. But overall, I will stay again for sure next time I visit SF.

bring earplugs and sleeping bags

location is good(close to wharf). room smelled dirty but looked clean. Nice having a fridge and micro especially with small children. My chief complaint is that it is advertised as queen beds but they are only double or full beds. My husband and I are thin people and the bed was too small for us to share. The kids had to sleep on the floor. It was VERY loud too. We could hear all of our neighbors and the traffic going by. Bring earplugs or turn on a fan for white noise.

Good location

It has a good location and is within walking distance to the fishermans warf, and Japan town. It is located on a main road so the bus run is right in front of it. For the price and how last minute we got it I was satisfied.

Great room for the money

I think that we had a good deal. The outside just look OK, but when you see the room, you understand that it is a nice hotel. It seems like the room was renovated not a long time ago. The person at the front desk was smiling. The location is very good. Great !
