Britt Scripps Inn

Location. Located in the center of historic Bankers Hill, the Britt Scripps Inn is a distinctive retreat that overlooks downtown San Diego. With bay windows and a colorful Victorian façade, this unique property was modeled after the Queen Ann era and is a magical boutique experience, even from first glance. Balboa Park is only one block away from this inn and is home to many of California's best museums, restaurants and the famed San Diego Zoo.

Hotel Features. Guests are invited to lounge or mingle in the Britt Scripps Inn lobby, where period furniture, elaborate window treatments and mood lighting create a remarkably sophisticated environment. Chef-prepared breakfasts are served on white tablecloths in a room with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and a lovely brass chandelier.

Guestrooms. The guestroom interiors reflect upon the various design genres that were prevalent among England's aristocratic society in the late 1800s and early 1900s. From Tiffany lamps and decorative fireplaces to claw-foot bathtubs and Chinese Chippendale chairs, each of this Estate Hotel's nine guestrooms are completely unique with thematic names such as Renaissance and Governors Room.
