    The staff tries hard but the property has seen better days. Nice location but not a very good value for the price.

Located two blocks from downtown Banff in Alberta, Canada, the Bow View Lodge lies directly beside the Bow River, where guests can rent canoes for serene boat trips. A tree-lined path outside leads to exceptional views of the surrounding Canadian Rockies. In the winter, guests can choose from three nearby ski hills, and during the summer, guests can enjoy scenic tours of Banff National Park, located one kilometer away.

Downtown Banff provides an array of activities, including dips in the Banff Upper Hot Springs and rides on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. Guests can also explore the town on horse-drawn carriages. Outdoor parking is complimentary. Underground self parking is available for a fee.

The Bow View Lodge is affiliated with the adjacent Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre. Guests can use the many facilities at this property, including an indoor pool, steam room, spa tub, hot plunge pool and fitness center. Guests may dine at Banff Park Lodge's two restaurants, Terrace Dining Room and Chinook Restaurant, and the Terrace Lounge.

The 58 guestrooms and three suites at the three-story Bow View Lodge feature balconies, coffeemakers, televisions, complimentary toiletries and refrigerators. Rooms on the second and third floors feature balconies.
