Broken Iron quickly replaced. Broken ironing board needed to stay open for 3 days. not really worth complaining about. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Tiny, tiny closet sized room. Such and expensive hotel should provide more spacious accommodations.

Room was a bit small. There was only about 11 inches between the end of the bed and the dresser.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 24 of 525Very convenient location but VERY small bathrooms
Very convenient location and great ambiance. However, it is an older hotel, the rooms are small and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in a 4-star hotel. I would recommend with a warning about the bathroom.

This hotel is in a great location, only 15 minutes from the airport, and very nice accomodations. I would definetly stay again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 26 of 525Expensive but worth it
Being in the City for vacation or business is very expensive and this hotel is no exception to the rule. The rooms have been redecorated recently and are really nice. The beds are super plush. The bathroom is very small but functional. The walls are very thin and you can hear every word your neighbor is saying. Overall, this hotel is worth the price becuase of it's excellent location in the heart of the City and the services it offers.

Trip Type: Family Review 27 of 525Excellent hotel in excellent location
This was our first trip to the city and we easily used the public transportation system (T)to get to & from the airport and to all locations within the city that we wanted to visit. The T subway system is very efficient and we felt safe even at night. I was very concerned at first about not getting a rental car but we made the right choice and saved a lot of money and tons of time. The trains run frequently and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for ours. The hotel itself is within a block of many historic landmarks including the Granary Burial Grounds (Paul Revere is here) and Boston Common (large beautiful park). The hotel is gorgeous and we stayed in the Executive Suite which gave us a little sitting/living room. Very comfy beds but small bathroom...but from what I am hearing, that is normal in this city. The best part of the whole trip was the service from the hotel staff. Check out is at noon and our flight didn't leave until 710pm but the staff allowed us to leave our bags at the bag check and come back to get them when we left for the airport. This allowed us to continue to sight see without hauling our luggage with us. All in all....I will stay again if I am ever back in Boston.

This is an incredible hotel. Rooms are small but this is an old property. Lots of history and right next to the beginning of the Freedom Trail walk. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only criticism is one wine glass appeared to be only wiped as there was still lipstick on it.

Trip Type: Family Review 29 of 525Very good but could be better
As many have noted, the rooms are small. Our suite was about the size of a normal room but still had a very small bathroom. Otherwise, a very good place to stay.
