    The hotel room was clean. The hallways and stairs could have used a vacuuming. It was at the footbridge as promised which was, in fact, a short walk to the downtown with plentiful stores, galleries, and restaurants. Since the parking is very limited downtown, this worked OK. I had no view, so if you want a harbor view, make sure you get one. There are no beaches in this area, only harbor.

    The air conditioner did not work well. The view was nice but we had to pay an extra $40.00 per day to get the view. The hotel itself was old and while it was clean, for the money spent I would have expected something more modern.

Location. The Boothbay Harbor Inn is adjacent to a footbridge leading to shops, cafes and galleries, all within walking distance. The inn is located in the town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine, a former fishing port that features maritime attractions such as whale-watching cruises and an aquarium. Other in-town attractions include golfing and a railway museum, both within five miles.

Hotel Features. The inn serves a complimentary continental breakfast each morning and the on-site restaurant serves fresh seafood and other New England specialties. Other restaurants serving seafood, bistro-style items, and casual fare are nearby. Complimentary Internet is available in all public areas. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.

Guestrooms. All guestrooms on two stories are accessible via exterior corridors without elevators. Each of the 60 guestrooms feature patios or balconies overlooking the harbor. Rooms feature cable/satellite television and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms offer complimentary toiletries. Microwave ovens and refrigerators are available on request.
