Room not great for the money

Both the bed and room was exceptionally small. The bed was also very saggy, I was really expecting alot more for the money. The hotel itself was fine unfortunately the room was below expectations.

Great room for the money

Place wasn't too pricey, and the hotel room was better than I expected. Very spacious, and it had a rather nice kitchen set up. I wish I could have hung around longer than just a weekend, because it was a nice hotel. I, also, was able to book this just a couple weeks in advance during a very busy weekend for Virginia Beach.

perfect location at the beach,great amenities

the Boardwalk is centrally located at the heart of Va Beach, with a lovely view, both of the city life, and the ocean. The atmosphere at the Beach is family oriented, but plenty to do for all ages , lots of police for safe night walks. Entertainment on the streets and close to the fishing pier. Top notch restaurant on ground floor. Room was lovely with everything we needed. Staff helpful Highly recommend, would stay again.

Ocean Front preferred

The suite was very clean and comfortable. I do wish that I would have had the option for a full oceanfront view. I would stay here again.

Not what we expected

First of all, we booked an ocean view room & got a lovely view of the parking garage. The one bedroom was the size of a closet w/ a small bed. The pullout couch was like all of them - extremely uncomfortable. The hotel was OK except the several phone calls a day we got from the people trying to get us to go to a time share seminar. If we would of had an ocean view room - we wouldn't of had to listen to the carpet cleaning van which started up at 8:30 AM & lasted 8 hours a day for the 2 days of our stay.

Nice but not for the price

The place was clean,comfortable,and convenient. Staff was attentive. CONS... My 16yr. old teen girls were looking forward to the advertised fitness room but were told to leave not being 18 yrs. old. The pool was not as family attractive as hoped... looked like a lap pool. There are better FAMILY choices.

okay, nothing special

first room overlooked an alleyway, we changed without problem. Second room got smokey as there is a smoking policy--okay to smoke in the units--I was not happy, luckily the people checked out the next day. Kitchen was adequate, usual banged around stuff, it was all okay, nothing special.

beautiful hotel.

I loved the hotel the only problem i had was the surprise virginia taxes that you have to pay at the end of your stay. I booked the hotel on hotels.com and had payed in full aleast i thought until i check out. The room was clean, quiet and i had an ocean view. Just beautiful.

Good room for the money.

The location was very good and the room was ok. The setup of the hotel was a little confusing. It was a nice setup in the room, however cleanliness was questionable. The tub was not thoroughly cleaned since there were things floating when I filled it up the first time. I had to send for new towels as well, because a couple of them were wet when I pulled them out. That was a turn off but the staff was very responsive when I brought it to their attention and the problems were resolved quickly. The people at the information desk were very helpful as well. I would stay overnight again but if it were longer, I would consider somewhere else to stay.

Oustanding

Got a lock-of suite, was hoping it was oceanfront. Could "peek" out the side window to see the ocean
