    I stayed for two nights at this motel and left with mixed feelings. The room was clean when I arrived and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was pleased with the wide screen TV in the room. The room was a nice size for the 2 queen beds and had a small refrigerator in the room. The Continental breakfast had a nice selection to choose from and was a good way to start the morning. I had a few things that weren't as good. I wasn't real pleased with the cleaning staff after the first night. It appeared that they just quickly came in and made the beds and didn't make much of an effort to re-arrange things. One of the trash cans wasn't emptied. Little things like a fresh bar of soap and shampoo weren't replaced. Parking spaces seem to have been designed for compact cars and I found myself inspecting my mid-sized car for dings every morning before I left. The last issue I had was with the high speed wireless internet. I spent over an hour just finding a working access point and even then it was intermittent at best. Even considering the negatives, if you're looking for a reasonably priced, friendly motel in an exceptionally beautiful part of the country, you'll get a comfortable night's sleep here. Just don't expect a 5-star motel from a 3-star motel.

The modern, yellow-fronted Hotel Binnenhof is located in the heart of Leuven, just 300 meters from the railway station and with easy access to many of Belgium's historic monuments. The 60 guestrooms are decorated in pastel tones and patterned fabrics; all include high speed wireless Internet connections and minibars. Guests can start the day with a complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet, and later enjoy an evening drink in the bar. The hotel serves a rich assortment of local beers, brewed according to traditional methods, and non- alcoholic drinks.
