Good room for the money, close to Detroit airport, would to see more channels for tv.

Not secure

1. the housekeeper was a very kind, patient woman- the best thing about the hotel. 2. Right off I-75 ramp, driveway hard to see,negotiate. Sounds of traffic from one section very loud. 3. Took 5 rooms to find one that had window screens. Too cool for A/C, too warm and stuffy to have the window closed.Raised security concerns. 4.No elevator to second floor (room that had it's screens) 5. three exterior door key card locks did not work. 6.one door had a pile of trash next to it all 3 days/nights. 7. sauna was off- cold, pool was cool. 8. Limited TV channels 9. Even though room was non smoking, smoke could be smelt in hallways/ staff was smoking next to exterior doors. 10. The restraunt was out of fruit and bagles by 7 AM,and there was only one other person in the place.

very nice hotel

we really enjoyed our stay there at the best western woodhaven inn. it was very comfortable, clean, and the staff was very friendly. i do wish that they would enforce some type of time limit for their guest computer use if other people are waiting to use it. the location of the inn is nice, being it is close to restaurants, and shopping (groceries, department stores) and medical clinics. we would most definitely stay here again if we come here to visit my relatives who live in trenton.

Not For Me

I was drawn into this hotel because of its price. That's about the only thing that stood out. Hotel is old. Kind of smelly. Air Conditioner is either too cold or too hot, and leaves a moldy kind of smell. The WiFi is super slow. I never needed anything from the staff, so I'm not real sure how well they are. I just stayed for a night, but I probably wouldn't again. This hotel needs to be renovated.

They let us check in early.

We came home from CT for a birthday party and only needed the room for a night. They let us check in at noon which was helpful. The room was clean, the shower hot, Maxwell House coffee instead of the usual no-name in the 'in-room' coffee. Ironing board and iron and plenty of towels and shampoo. The morning was a bit noisy as guests were leaving, we could hear them banging doors down the hall but that's just rude people. One comment, the pool was open but there were several towels in the bottom which needed to be plucked out by maintenance. The patio outside the pool needs some 'sprucing up'. For the price and convenience, for a stop over, it was ok. We'll stay again for the next time we have to come back home.

Not bad for price

The hotel rooms were really nice, the lobby area and outside of the hotel wasn't as current looking. Front desk staff was very nice and suggested an upgraded room that was very helpful. Breakfast included would have been nice and the restaurant has some odd hours.

Very Satisfied

This hotel was very clean and the customer service was friendly and accommodating. Good room for the price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and give it a good recommendation.

surprised me

when we arrived from new york the hotel on the outside is an older looking hotel so my thoughts were we came to detroit for a game with the family i guess this will do. But when we opened the door to our room the 2 queen size beds and amount of space and overall room was a pleasant surprise. The pool was large and perfect tempeture. Shopping and some eating was about 1 mile away. the front desk called to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything which was nice. overall for the money and what we expected it it was a good experience
