Ultra Modern Decoration Meets Comfort

We were awed by how clean the hotel was and by its ultra-modern decor. The staff was friendly and rang us when we received a fax. For us, the location was perfect--close to the Opera, the Louvre, Printemps and other venues. We even walked to the Montmartre and back after dinner. The elevator was a bit scary at first, but we quickly got used to the slight drop when it reaches the top floor. Free WiFi was as advertised and secured with individual, temporary accounts. One tip for improvement would be to display the telephone number for the front desk.

Nice hotel but location not great

The hotel was small but nice. It was recently renovated as it states on their website. Location is not great for site seeing (or English speaking) but the Paris Metro can get you anywhere you need to go and there is a Metro station just a block up the street. My room only had a shower with glass doors which had a gap on the bottom so water would leak out and make a mess. 2 twin beds but that was fine. A friend of mine paid the same price and got a king bed and a bathtub with shower. I probably could have asked to be switched but I didn't. Staff was pleasant most of the time and spoke English pretty well. We tried to have a late night drink in the lobby and gentlemen on staff said the bar was closed even though the book in the room said it is open 24 hours. I'm pretty sure he was just lazy and didn't want to serve us the drinks. Overall, I don't have any major complaints.

It would be very difficult for me to be happier with my stay!

Spent two nights in the hotel in early August and could not have been happier. Was on crutches and the staff went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Rooms are not huge but tasteful with excellent a/c. Previous reviewer made mention of the 23 Euro breakfast, there is an option for a tradition French breakfast of bread, coffee, juice and croissant for 8 Euro. Can not say enough about the hotel staff!!! You would be hard pressed to find a better location.

Bad room for the money

I stayed at this hotel two years ago and I would have recommended it then; the hotel is in a great location; accessible to the metro, the Place de la Concorde and other places of interest. It is in a very safe neighborhood and I guess there is a value in the place. However, the charges were excessive for the room; breakfast was $23 Euros; even when compared to other current prices in Paris this was way too much, considering that we found many small brasseries and restaurants that offered a three course dinner in Paris for 12 Euros. Also we were charged 60 extra Euros a day for my daughter to stay with us in the same room.

Great Location

Everything about this Hotel was outstanding with the exception of the size of the room.

Perfect fit

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Great location for shopping and sightseeing. We got the real French experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful and spoke perfect english.

Nice for Shopping but Not Much Else

It was a very nice hotel. The lobby is very deceiving as it is so small. The rooms looked to be very nice, small but nice! The only bad part about the rooms was the bed. It was rock hard, at least for our taste! If you want to shop then stay here, for the sights it is a little far away. There are better situated hotels for seeing Paris. Otherwise it was nice!
