the room was mildewy smelling by the end of 8 days the smell was gone...also no central air..small room a/c to cool down two huge rooms...

Great place for location

It's not five star, but it's a perfect place if your looking for a place with a full kitchen and living room. Free internet was nice, and it was close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Kappa'a is close to the fern grotto, 2 waterfalls, and a midway point between Poipu and the North shore. We had a toddler and liked it because it was quite for naps, but the ovens had the dials at the front, so we were constantly making sure he wasn't starting the oven or burners.

More for the price of an average hotel room

I wasn't expecting a suite. I got a hotel room with a living room, kitchen, balcony dressing area and king size bed. The only problem was the shower head. It was difficult to control. It is walking distance to the beach and a great shopping area with a wide variety of food and live entertainment.

Not very quite, lacking kitchen

While the rooms were emaculately clean and the hotel staff are great, the nearby freeway can be a little overwhelming and the Kitchen utensils left a lot to be desired.

Outstanding Value!

Great All-Suite hotel. If staying for an extended period of time, it has everything you would need in the kitchen, except for a dishwasher. Nice area, near two supermarkets (within walking distance) and with lots of restaurants near by.

Great place

comfortable, clean and very well equipped since it is really a condo, not a hotel, no ocean view but the ocean is within walking distance and almost every way you look it is beautiful.

Great location and room for the price

THis hotel made our stay much more convenient than it could have been. Because of the pricing on airline tickets, we needed a place to spend one night before our time share stay began. This hotel was not only convenient but a great price for the one night stay. The personnel were terrific and very helpful. Our only need unmet was the ability to hook up to WiFi for our internet messages. We were not close enough to the WiFi center [only in the lobby] to make a connection.

Great room for the money

Great location for Kauai. Rooms clean but could use a bit of updating. Great to have a kitchen when you have a long stay. Most rooms have a view of ocean across the street. Maid service was good. Staff friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
