Good room for overnight

Good place for an overnight stay. Third floor and our room smelled like smoke. Room was nice, but no blankets or quilts on the bed, and none in the closet. It was a cold night.

Great room for the rate

My room was clean and the staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice room at a very good price.

Great personnel at this hotel

I had a reservation for a non-smoking room with 2 queens. They did not have one available and I had to settle for a room with 1 king instead. The front desk personnel did everything they possibly could to make up for it. Overall, I was pleased with the service provided. They were very professional and courteous.

Fails to deliver on promised services

Reserved through Expedia for non-smoking 2 queens, ended up in smoking room, single king bed. Reservation was for 4 people! Had to specially request bed clothes for pull-out bed. Room stank! Really, really badly. Desk staff refused to accomodate us based on our reservations, yet did so for other guests. We booked nearly a month ahead of time; for this level of advance notice, and $$ paid, this level of service is absolutely incredibly bad. It would have been bad in any case; inexcusable now.

Room is nice and clean and comfortable. The motel is also convenient for shopping, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Good place to stay

Convenient location. Easy to get to. Shopping and resturants close-by. Hotel is still undergoing rentivation from the destruction on Hurricane Ike, but it was not an inconvenience to our stay. Nice rooms, quick breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

Great hotel in a good location.

The hotel is my favorite in Texas City. I love the staircase leading to the second floor and the furniture in the sitting area. I have stayed here three times when moving my daughter to school in Galveston. I stay here because the hotel prices in Galveston are outrageous. This hotel is only 15 minutes away and an easy commute! They were under renovations and the carpet was missing from the hallways but that is to be expected after enduring a hurricane. Behind the hotel is a mall. Inside the mall is a movie theater with new release movies for a steal of a price. Check it out!

This hotel was in the process of renovating during my stay. I had a pleasant stay room was clean but the lamps were dusty. over all great room for the price. Excellent location.

Okay Hotel

The hotel was being remodeled,so there was not any carpet in the hallway. I was on the first floor and could hear when anyone was going into the maintenance/housekeeping room (it was security locked and beeped when the code was put in). Other than that, the hotel was fine. Very close to some resturants and the Mall. A good place to stay for the money.
