Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 60awesome place to stay!!!
the other people who didn't give a good review must be use to 5 star hotel at a high rate. I would recommend this hotel and book a room here again without second thoughts.. we booked a standard double and they put us in a deluxe and no extra cost! for this nice of a room it was well worth the price. the location made it very easy to get to the surgery center at 5:30am.. only a few minutes away and check out was quick and painless.way to go best western kelly inn...

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 60Hotel Kelley Needs some Love
Very nice professional staff (and cleaning crew) but these hotel rooms definitely need some TLC from mangement/owners. The Kelley l is located directly on the beautiful Mississippi River but oddly doesn't take advantage of this asset. This may be a legacy of 1960s thinking so the time is ripe for change. As it is, in order to see the river I had to take a 3rd floor walk up smoking room. Here's the problem: The electrical outlets weren't all working, the room smelt very very strongly of smoke (far more then normal even in a smoking room) and everything felt very tired especially for the price. We found a great local historic bar and theater right around the corner and the service was excellent but the owners of this hotel need to find a way to get room basics up to a higher level.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 60Not a Bargain!
Where do I begin? The room smelled like mildew when we got there. From a noise perspective, the air-conditioning/fan unit had two speeds: Loud (Hi/Low/Fan Only) and Quite (Off); unfortunately, when turned off, the room gets incredibly hot, stuffy, and smelly. There were only two accessible electrical outlets - one in the bathroom and one under the bedside table (which was already in use). The hotel boasts of free wireless internet, but the connection was hit-or-miss, and once connected it was slower than molasses. The bathroom (shower/toilet area) was VERY small in an otherwise large room with lots of wasted space. The two double beds were both very uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy and/or flat. I had to go to the front desk to get my room key reactivated at 9:40 p.m. on our second night there, and waited for at least 5 minutes while the only one working at the desk was on the phone in the back room. I will never stay at this one again.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 60Needs improvment
The bed in our room was hard. We actually went out and bought a mattress topper so we could sleep better. We heard other rooms did not have this problem. Our two little pillows were also small and inadequate, shaped like chewed gum. The hallway carpet was quite faded. Things like the pool and gym were quite good. The room was small but nice, except for the bed.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 60OK, needs improvement
This hotel is not handy at this time due to the road construction. This hotel has small rooms and the bathroom was dirty. Hair in the tub. I had to be moved from one room due to the noise. The room keys did not work at first and to get this problem fixed I had to take a long walk back to the lobby. The swimming pool was super. It was very clean, safe and there was plenty of towels. The Staff should be commended for this area.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 60Hotel Staff Superb
The hotel staff was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, they were enthusiastic and helpful. When we ran into a problem, they resolved it quickly and did not require me to stay there while they took care of it. They made sure that all of our needs were met and went out of their way to make sure that it did not take time away from our stay. They made they whole experience simple beyond compare.
