Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 47Great Value
The bed was super comfortable, free internet, breakfast, social hour, and fitness center. For the price I paid, this was a great deal!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 47Outstanding hotel
We were very pleasantly surprised by the luxury of our suite. The bed was very comfortable. There were two modern flat screen TVs. The living area was spacious with a couch, coffee table, desk, and a nicely appointed mini-kitchen. We had windows in both the living and the bedroom areas. Only drawbacks were the proximity to a busy street, and difficulty using their free wireless internet connection.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 47Great value for the money! Exceptional customer service!
While the hotel is under renovations, the rooms are finished and extremely comfortable. I never slept so good in a hotel bed before!! Very happy with the staff! I had some special needs while there and they met and exceeded my expectations! Nice neighborhood and convenient to the freeway and airport. The hotel is also close to the Mountain Preserve for hiking!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 47A little hard to find
The hotel is in a great location for access to all of Phoenix: Northern & 16th St. It has a straight shot to downtown & the airport as well as access to Paradise Valley & Scottsdale. The only minor quibble is that it can be hard to find, especially if a left turn off of Northern or 16th is required. The directions recommend getting off SR51 at Northern. I'd recommend getting off on Glendale, heading west, then turn right on 16th St. Then the hotel is on your right as you approach Northern.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 47Lied about non-smoking room
We booked a king non-smoking room. When we checked in, they told us the room was non-smoking (even made us sign a form stating we wouldn't smoke). When we got to the room, it was a queen and it smelled of smoke. Called the desk and as told they were booked up and that sometimes guests break the rules concerning smoking. They said we could have a new room for the second night. When we went to switch rooms in the morning, that desk clerk told us our first room was a designated smoking room. I understand we are not guaranteed room preferences when booking online, but they should not have lied to us! Apparently when they book the full hotel, some guests get stuck in smoking rooms. It was really bad, our clothing smelled like smoke.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 47Needs improvement
I booked a non-smoking suite about a month in advance. It was a good deal, but I had to pay all up front and no cancelations. That was fine and not a problem. The problem was the night I arrived. I checked in about 6:00p.m. and got my key. They had given me a smoking room and said it was all that was left. I did not appreciate that I paid in full a month in advance and they gave the room I pre-paid for to someone else. They let me cancel that night , but that was not the point. I was 50 miles from home and there were no other hotel rooms available nearbye. It was a long drive home.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 47Good value
Good value for price. Clean hotel and room. Room had microwave and fridge, couch, 2 chairs to sit on, small room but had lots in it. Pool average size but clean. Hot tub wasn't working the last day. Free breakfast was good, better than continential at other hotels. Social hour was a nice bonus with free beer, wine and pop. Staff was friendly and nice. Overall a good expereience. Would visit again and recommend this hotel. Nothing fancy but clean and extra bonuses added to it.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 47just right. go for it!
It was great> After the reviews I was confident that this stay would be okay. When I arrived the staff was very friendly, and they even up graded my room to a suite. It was perfect> The room was very comfortable, perfect for a couple. I was traveling alone for a business trip :( however they had two complimentary drinks> and breakfast in the morning. Not too impressed with the breakfast.. but not everything can be perfect. Overall I felt very safe>This was my first time in Arizona... and if I had to return I would stay there again> I live in Southern California and the Best Westerns do not seem to be of the same standard> meaning CA Best Westerns are probably the equivalent of a 1-2 star and the one I stayed at was at least a 3 1/2. I took the risk and I was surprise that their service was better than some of the nicer hotel I have stayed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 47Outstanding Hotel
Rooms were clean. They had a nice flat screen TV also. The King Size bed was awesome. Nice full continental breakfast every morning. 4 internet terminals. In a GREAT location--quiet with a lot of nice restaurants around. Friendly staff. You cannot beat this hotel for the price.
