Comforiable & Clean

Great experience

We had a room in the back of the hotel. It was quiet and the room was very roomy. There are many places to eat and refuel. Very close to interstates. Would definitely stay here again.

Great deal!

I was a little nervous @ first b/c of a few bad reviews but this hotel was actually really clean and affordable. The young man at the front desk was nice and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The location was great because there are gas stations, food places, and convenience stores in walking distance & it is close enough to the beaches without dealing w/ all the boardwalk congestion and traffic. The beds were comfortable & the room was bigger than I had expected...especially for the price I had paid. The only downside is that breakfast is provided but there is hardly any room to eat it! I ended up eating by the pool or taking it back to my room. Overall, this hotel was great & I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal in the VA beach area.

Great room for the money

Very clean hotel, we had a three day stay and found this location to be ideal for getting around Virginia Beach and Norfolk and up the Chesapeake Bay tunnel bridge. The continental breakfast had many options for us in the mornings, and the service staff was great.

Could be better

The room met our needs but was supposed to be a non-smoking room and it really smelled liked they tried to coverup someone smoking in the room. The motel was just old and you can tell. Otherwise, it was okay for the money and met our more pressing needs.

Great value

It had everything I look for in a value motel and exceeded expectations for the price. Extremely comfortable beds, soft sheets (rare to find in a value motel), lots of hot water, quiet location and friendly staff while costing less than the other motel chains in the area (considerably less than hotels, of course). We will definitely stay here again.

Good Hotel

My friend and I stayed here and for a reasonable price we got pleasant service, comfortable beds, and a relatively clean room. Even though the location wasn't prime and the continental breakfast was somewhat lacking in selection, we certainly got our money's worth. If you're looking for something upscale, this probably wouldn't be the place to go. But if you just want to spend a few days in VA Beach and don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel, this would be a good pick.

Great for Virginia Beach

I recently booked the hotel to attend a concert at the Hampton Coliseum. The hotel was everything I expected and needed. Two beds, clean sheets, and a hot shower for a good price. There is a Denny's, a China Buffet, and a Wawa all within walking distance. There was also many other restaurants and coffee houses withing a couple miles which was a bonus. The only thing that was inconvenient which has nothing to do with the hotel was the location of it in reference to where I was going. The hampton roads bridge tunnel is an absolute nightmare from about two o' clock on during the week. I think we got on ten miles from our destination and hit ten miles of traffic. If I had to do it on a daily basis I'd shoot myself or move. But If you are staying within Virginia Beach area I don't think the traffic will be an issue I recommend you consider the best western as a good cheap place to hang your hat.

Nice accomadatins and it also included a continental breakfast.

needs improvement

due to smoking in the room next to us we had to move . smoking was awful,and it was suppose to non smoking room

Cost effective, but...

For the cost, the room seemed clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. However, although we could set the door locks, the door itself was exceedingly difficult to close.
