We were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see. Close to shopping as well.

Nice hotel and convenient location

This was a pleasant hotel located within about 15 minutes walk from the train station. The staff was courteous and helpful, and speak English well. There seems to be some direction for them to push the breakfast offered by the hotel for €15 (about $20) per person. They were insistent that we try it; however we opted instead for a bake shop down the street. Additionally, there is an "MPreis" grocery store within five minutes walk on Maximilianstr. which has a nice bakery, fresh fruits and yogurt, etc for about one quarter of the price. We brought that back and took advantage of their free coffee brought to the room. Made it a great deal. Would recommend the hotel come up with some better...or cheaper...arrangements for breakfast for its guests.

Great service, good location, but I rate it a solid 3 star.

I'm not sure what system is used to rate the hotels here, but in the states I would give it a solid 3, I normaly stay in Marriots stateside and would qualify the better ones as a 4. That said, the staff is very helpfull and polite, most all spoke exellent english which is a good thing as my German is not. The room was smaller that I had hoped, but clean and comfortable. The location is great, but it can be tough to find parking, I parked on the street right in front of the loading zone, however it was the weekend. On Monday morning, I moved the car just a few blocks north into a residential neighborhood where there were no restrictions and walked back about 5 minutes. The breakfast is exellent, but pricey, I recommend walking to one of the nearby cafes. I did not try the lunch or dinner. The bar is a cozy place to sit and relax in the evening, if you don't mind cigarette smoke.

THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL! My daughter lost it saying she's stayed at better youth hostels! Also the evening staff was rude.

Great Location

This hotel was in a great location...just a 5 min walk to old town Innsbruck and just about everything. Clean and nice...would go there again.
