Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 36Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere
I tried this hotel since it was supposed to be close to the beach, and near the airport. Neither was true. There's only one bus that goes to the beach, (taxi's are almost impossible to find) but the beach is all blocked off for clubs and resorts. The ride to the airport was almost half an hour, and cost 40 Euro. The hotel is new, and clean however. The breakfast was terrible, stay away from the green eggs!

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 36Not Close to Airport
The hotel is very clean. Our room was very comfortable with a great shower and bathroom. It is also close to a pleasant but expensive restaurant that served great food. My two teenagers and I were returning to the US after traveling through Italy. We had booked this hotel because it was advertised as being close and convenient to Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci airport. Actually the hotel is about forty five minutes in traffic and the hotel shuttle service to the airport is 40E for three people. OUCH! If you are traveling on business this would be a great hotel - close to EU business center and a short distance to the beach. If you are in transit to the airport and looking for a moderately priced room this is NOT the place to choose.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 36Great room for the money
Positives: Great, friendly service, delicious breakfast, clean, comfortable room, decent price Negatives: Far from city, not in the best neighborhood (though we felt safe inside, just wouldn't walk around the area at night.)

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 36Nice but hard to find
Nice hotel in every sense but is had to find. GPS would help a lot. Good restaurant just down the street. Directions to the airport are complicated. Again GPS would be good.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 36Great hotel & staff!
My wife & I took a cruise from Florida to Italy. We had to take a 6+ train ride to get to Rome, then hop on a subway, then a bus to the hotel. I emailed the hotel for help with directions & they were great at responding. When we got there everything was perfect; as nice as they could be & the hotel was beautiful. I can't say enough about how happy we were to get there. It was a bit away from the sites & the fare to the airport (40 euro) was high, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 36Fabulous hotel---but hard to reach by public transportation
Loved the hotel. Beautiful room with great ammenities. I was surprised that it was such a long bus ride from the train station and so far from major sights. It was also a much longer and more expensive ride to the airport than I expected. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay for a good price and you have your own transportation---or you just want to be in nice surroundings while you relax, read, go to the beach (longer than a walk away), this would be the perfect place to go.

Not very close to the airport or downtown. Downtown takes a bus and a train. Airport takes a long cab ride (expensive)

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 36Taxi issue
The hotel and breakfast were great. There is no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The cost for the taxi was 45 60 euro which is $60.00 to $81.00 one way. The hotel rate back to the airport was 40 euro $54.00. The taxi's cost almost as much as the room.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 36too far from airport
This hotel should NOT be listed near airport. Very hard to find, not well know, area not to safe. Was very unhappy with distance from airport. Had early flight hotel transport not available till 7am had to pay 30 euros to get to airport which is about 20 minutes or more away.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 36Wonderful Experience
The staff at this hotel was wonderfully acccomodating, polite and pleasant. After getting ripped off by a taxi driver, we were not in the most pleasant mood when we arrive. Ann Marie at the front desk was wonderful. Her cheerfulness and understanding personality disarmed us immediately. She got us into our room immediately, answered all of our questions, and directed us on how to get to Rome via the bus and metro. The free wireless internet was great and the included breakfast were great. I can't say enough about how well we were treated. If we go back to Rome, that is where we will stay!!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 36Airport Hotel?
The hotel is billed as an airport hotel, but it's 30 to 60 minutes from the airport (Rome FCO). The desk clerk gave us short-cut directions orally to the airport. They happened to be woefully insufficient. There was a single sign to the airport, but many unsigned and confusing turns on the way. We had to ask other drivers.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 36Good, but off the beaten path
The hotel was fine, the rooms were a good size and the staff was helpful. We did have problems with the Internet not working consistently and the TV satellite was not working in our first room, which was a problem as a presidential debate was that night (so they moved us to a new room). The hotel was a bit tough to find too because there wasn't a Best Western sign out front (just a small, faded flag along the front of the hotel with a bunch of other flags) and the GPS didn't get the location right - so we kept going right past it without realizing it. Also, even though it is less than 15 miles from the airport, it took us well over an hour to get there (left at 10am) so beware Rome traffic! Oh, and the other recommendations for the restaurant (Zucchero and Limone) was right on. Great food and great service. And about a 1 minute walk from the hotel.
