Positives: - Service was professional and friendly - Room was clean Negatives: - Bed covers had strong chemical smell (dry cleaning chemical?), making it hard to sleep - even with fan on -(thermostat)was difficult to read without full light. Could not shut it off - Constant/loud highway noise due to immediate I-5 adjacency (no sound wall, and hotel shape/design actually created a sound trap efffect) Room fan did help to provide minor "white noise" relief

Great Room for the Money

The hotel was nice for the price. Perfect spot to stay for traveling through and need a place to stop. It was nice to have a small bite to eat in the morning at the free breakfast. It was a hassle to get a small bowl of ice, had to go to the front desk each time. The hotel was off the freeway which was nice but 30 minutes away from anything else. The prices at the "Convienence" store next door was extremely expensive. Consider stopping at a grocery store before driving in.

good hotel

surrounding environment isn't that good. there is a foul smell in the air. i think because of the cattle in the area. smells like cow manure.

Outstanding Hotel

The Hotel was great, but my reservation had not been faxed to the reservations desk, and it took an hour to call Hotels.com and have the reservation faxed to the hotel. During this time, an outstanding clerk, Louis, went the extra mile and made sure that we were taken care of and offered to take our luggage on his side of the desk until the reservation was received so that we would not miss dinner. That was not a required service, and he made a long wait easier to bear.

Taking advantage of weary travelers

The hotel smelled good and was clean, but someone needs to tell these Hotels about a new invention called fabric softener. It lengthens the lifespan of linens and makes customers comfortable. We stayed in a different hotel the next night, it was only a little more in cost and what a huge difference in quality and service. I will not stay here again.
