Needs better breakfast

The breakfast is very small. Just english muffins, sausage, toast, bagels, apples & oranges. Not a very good selection.

Works for the Price

This hotel was about half the price of others in the area. After reading several bad reviews I was hesitant but the price was the final determining factor. The only issue I had with the room was the mini-fridge didn't work (we had a large cooler so wasn't a big deal) and the maintenance staff was unable to replace a broken light bulb in the bathroom. You get what you pay for, and for the price I paid I was satisfied. It's not the Ritz people, just a place to lay your head.

Decent Hotel Close to University of Michigan

My first contact with the hotel was not very positive. I had booked a double-bed room about a month before checking-in and when I called the hotel the day before to verify the reservation and to verify it had double beds, the person who picked up the phone said that although in both of our computers it showed that a room was reserved, it was not guaranteed. She stated that sometimes "things can happen" and space would be dependent on room availability - isn't that the point of booking a hotel room, so it is available when you check in?! When I asked about the bed size, the woman said that they were both full-sized beds - that information was incorrect, although the beds did turn out to be "hotel queen" (bigger than a full, but smaller than a regular queen size). Other than this, the duration of my stay at the hotel was very enjoyeable. Staff were friendly and the surrounding area felt safe. Compared to other hotels similarily priced to this one, the continental breakfasts were pretty good. Although they offered the same food every morning, the decor, the presentation, and the variety and quantity of food was great. Definitely a big plus. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Great bargain!

For one of the least expensive properites in Ann Arbor, this was a very pleasnt experience. Clean, quiet, no complaints about the room. Very good breakfast! I've stayed in other budget motels in the area and this is by far the best I've encountered.

Great Price for Great Room

I enjoyed the accommodating attitudes of the employees a great deal. The complimentary breakfast each morning allows guests to save money daily. The food was excellent as was the customer service. I like the decor used in the rooms. The hotel is very close to shopping and the highway. I was very pleased with the hotel!

Very good deal

This hotel was convenient to the highway and just a five minute drive to downtown AA. It had a lot of nice features: indoor pool, exercise room, business center, good continental breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. It seems that some areas of the facility are out of date or could use some renovation, but it did not affect the comfort of our stay. The price was very good.
