Needs Much Improvement

In addition to my recent review, i want to add that the hotel floors are small and crampy. It gives a weired feeling.

Needs Much Improvement

I stayed here for 6 nights and i have to say i was disappointed. There was construction going on and it was very noisy from Early morning till 4:30PM. Plus you have to pay $7.00 for the parking. Plus the hotel only allows 30 min's of free phone use. On the plus side,hotel was near to all the attractions. There was a great jogging area. Good gym area. Good resturents are near by and the Hotel service is good. For me, i will look for other options.

Bad Customer Services

We liked better the hotel before the renovation. It looks like the personnel would need courses in customer service.

Great view for Ottawa

Best Western in Hull is very nice to see Ottawa from the other side of river. If you are visit Ottawa, it is a chance to see city view from the other side.

Needs much improvement!!!

Possibly demolish and start over, old old hotel. Hotel exterior is in bad condition and inside is not much better. No heat in room, pool was ice cold and shower had no hot water in morning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have stayed at many Best Western's in the US and this was not what I expected from a BW.

Beware of extra costs and bad maintenance!

Though this hotel is very close to downtown Ottawa and all its sites, this hotel desperately needs a make-over and some maintenance improvements. One night (of our 3-night stay), the two elevators were out and we had to carry our two small children and all of their belongings (i.e. stroller, diaper bag, etc.) up 8 flights! In addition, our room was very small, and reminded us of hotels in New York (where you expect small!). One other comment: if you bring a car, expect an additional parking fee/night! We paid $7/night. There is a parking garage, but it fills up quickly. While we were there, about 60 children were also there for a local hockey tournament and therefore, there was a lot of kids running around, screaming and emptying the single ice machine (which, by the way, is in the basement of the hotel!). We won't ever stay there again. We think hotels.com should remove it from its list!!
