Great room for money

We got a half off deal from hotels.com which was great! The hotel was very clean, plenty of free parking and courtesy staff. Had a Denny's attached with great hours. It was very quite. The back part seemed to be next to the expressway but we couldn't hear any car noises where we were. WiFi was free.

Great Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay and the room and grounds were very clean. I would stay with them again and would certainly recommend Best Western "Carriage Inn" to my friends and business associates.

Exceeded our Expectations

This is a great hotel.. clean, comfortable, definitely exceeded my expectations. Although I used the Fitness Center and found that the treadmill wasn't working right. I informed the Front Desk and was told that the repairman was on their way. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Everything I wanted!

Very comfortable rooms. I especially like the extra vanity so one of us could shower while the other got ready in the dressing area sink. Used the laundry and the fitness room and they were both in excellent shape. I drove back and forth to the city each day and really enjoyed being right off two freeways.

Great Location and Value

Definitely a great room for the money! We needed to be near Universal Studios and Agoura Hills, plus not too far from LAX. This location was perfect for all of those needs. Someone else complained about lack of parking due to the Denny's, but our room was in another area with a separate parking lot. So we had no issues with parking. It is a really big hotel, there are several different buildings. They don't offer continental breakfast, but Denny's is so close you don't have to drive anywhere else and they do room service. We also loved the free computer access in the lobby. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

noisy and cust svc not the best

I booked a non smoking room. I got a room that smelled and called down to the front desk who said they would change the roomand for me to come back to the desk. I ended up walking all my luggage back to the desk (it was a good football field length away and we weren't sure where he would place us, so we didn't know if we should reload the car or not. He gave us another room and we got up there finally but he only gave us one room key. I think that the hotel should have come up and helped us move the luggage since there were no elevators and we were trucking our stuff up and down sets of stairs to the next room. I think the front desk should have asked how many key cards we wanted since two of us appeared at the desk to check in. Other than that, the room was fine, the location is very convenient and we have stayed there in the past. The rooms are a little dark and also there was a lot of noise so after this last stay we decided that in fact we would not be coming back. If you don't mind that the room was noisy and be sure to check the smell of your room before you move all your stuff then I would recommend it because of the convenience (there is a Denny's in the parking lot and it is located very near the 101 and the 405 freeways.) I was not impressed with the price but comparing the area hotels, it was competitive.

they had closed a sink drain because it leaked

Repairing the sink drain would be the correct action. The front desk made a point of learning our preferences and trying to accomodate them. They made a good recommendation of a restaurant serving mediteranian cuisine.
