Expert Tip. Rainbow's End Theme Park is a very popular Auckland family destination. The park, opened in 1982, includes go carts, bumper boats, log flumes, a pirate ship and, for young children, Cadbury Land Castle. For the adventurous, the park offers a variety of thrill rides, including a corkscrew roller coaster. The park also contains a restaurant that serves typical theme park fare such as hamburgers and hot dogs.
