Trip Type: Special Event Review 16 of 105It Really is the Best Value
This Hotel was very clean, comfortable, and for the price the room was pretty big with a small fridge, microwave and breakfast table. The best Value Inn truly was the best value I've had in a hotel in a long time. I would recommend to anyone looking to save a few bucks on their hotel accomodations.

Trip Type: Family Review 18 of 105Clean and Comfortable
I had relatively high expectations considering how low the prices were due to the extremely high ratings from previous guests. In my opinion, the ratings were very accurate. We came to Houston to visit family, so we really only needed a clean, safe, quiet place to sleep, and that is what we needed. It was very nice for the price. The pool was clean and had accessible hours, and the breakfast was adequate. I would definitely stay there again. My only concern was the strange, roundabout way that was needed to get to the property. It appeared to be due to some construction, so it may be more easily accessible at a later date.

Trip Type: Business Review 20 of 105For the money - it's what you would expect
This is an older hotel, maybe a former Hampton Inn or Comfort Inn. The hotel has a few minor maintenance issues (lights out, hallway smells like smoke, old carpet), but is clean. The rooms aren't bad considering what you pay. The area is a little suspect, but I had no issues while there.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 21 of 105Great room for the money
I planned to go to Houston for a surprise visit with my daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren, but the motel where I usually stayed no longer existed. After searching for "Name Brand" places in the area, I decided to go to Hotels.com. I read the reviews for Best Value Inn and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! The room was very big, clean and only a few miles from my daughter's home. Surrounded by dozens of eateries, an indoor pool and free WiFi, I was in heaven. The staff was very pleasant and did me a big favor. After my visit I realized I left some important documents somewhere in my room. I called after the room had been cleaned and the staff said that if they found the documents they would mail them to me in New York. Three days later the documents arrived by mail. Now that's service!

the hotel was very clean. room was nice air conditioner was already on for us, bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was a plus also. the only problem that we had was the merged tube and jacuzzi tub didnt work but overall the hotel was a great place to pay for the weekend getaway.

Trip Type: Family Review 24 of 105Not up to par
The location of this hotel is only about a mile off of I-45 so the location was great. However there was some road construction which caused us to have to drive an awkward route and through a restaurant parking lot to actually get to the hotel (of course that will be different when the construction is finished). We waited at the front desk to check in for about 10-15 minutes before anyone even came out to help us. We had reserved a room with a king size bed, but when we checked in we were told there were none available and given a room with 2 doubles. Our smoke detector went off in our room while I was showering and continued to go off for about 15 minutes...when I called down to see what we should do, the hotel employee said, "you must have been showering with the door open," so I assume that happens to guests often. side note: be careful if you purchase anything from the snack machine...everything is 75 cents, but it didn't have any quarters in it, so when my husband put in his dollar, he did not get his change back.

Trip Type: Business Review 25 of 105Worth the Money
You're taking your chances reserving a room in this price range. While this wasn't the Ritz. it was worth the price of admission.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 26 of 105Great Hotel Especially for the Price
The hotel is centrally located around both fast food and dine-in restaurants. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
