Needs lot of improvement

1. The window Vibrance was completely broken so outside light was enlighting the room. 2. No button in the AC to change the temp 3. The Carpet was dirty 4. The king size bed was broken. The iron frame was coming out. 5. The level of the comforter was not steady. It was deep in one side compare to other side. 6. Coffe & Coffe maker without Coffe glass jar. The hotel should not be in the business.

Needs Improvement

The location was good. When i checked in the rooms where not the ones that i purchased online and they put me in the room they wanted because they assumed we wanted rooms side by side. The kitchenette rooms are actually what they call mini kitchenette with just a kitchen sink,icebox ans microwave...no stove. The carpet was old and bad looking and had to go buy towels cause they didnt have face towels. The good thing is room service wont come in your room unless you ask so you can sleep the day away without any interruptions and you dont have to worry about any being in there while your away and something coming uo missing....

Great room for the deal

When for the 16th May 2009 weekend. The staff was welcoming, rooms were clean. The Surrounding neighborhood was quite safe and calm. The wifi didn't work throughout our stay but overall stay was great.

Smell

The Place was very convinenet, the staff was very helpful, but the room had a smell that followed me home, i had to wash my clothing several times till it came off.

Meets Needs

For a Hotel in Miami Beach where you are doing a bunch of activities this is an ideal location to have a place to lay your head down at night.

Need changes

please put curtains, could not sleep at night,bright light, noise from the near high trafic avenue, dirty room,carpet have not seen a vacuum in ages, freezing water in the pool,staff not nice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Dirty Rooms

The hotel has a good location and the rooms are fine.They have fridge and microwave but the carpet and toilet are dirty.

Service was good but location was awful

I arrived at about 4AM exhausted, my plane was 4 hours late. The room was clean, nice new carpet and furniture. I jumped into bed to realize that I couldn't sleep because the window was facing a busy road. At around 5AM I went to the reception and asked to change the room. The employee was leaving and asked me to come back at around 9-10AM. I guess he wanted to go home more that helping a guest. I was too tired to argue. I came back at 9AM and got the quietest room in the hotel without any hassle. But that spoiled my whole day because I didn't sleep that night at all. The hotel was in the worst area of the town. I didn't plan to rent a car and chose to to commute every day by bus that stopped a block away. Buses went to South Beach, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive etc. It was about 15 min to all these places. The bus came every 5-10 min/24 hours. The hotel offers some trips and they book them for you and you are picked up directly from the hotel. That was convenient. There is no breakfast at all. Not even coffee and the closest restaurant was about 10 blocks away. There is a good size outdoor pool but it faces the main road. The pool and around was clean. I asked for extra towels, no problem. There is a nice park about 2 blocks from the hotel that faces the beach but I didn't feel comfortable to walk there. In general, the hotel was OK for the money. It had good service and helpful employees (besides the one who didn't change my room at 5AM). Everything was clean. A HUGE minus is the location. I do not think I will stay there again.

NOT IMPRESSED

WE ARRIVED AT ONE IN THE MORNING, THE HOTEL HAD AN OLD SMELL, WE SAW LARGE ROCHES IN OUR HOTEL ROOM, WOULD NOT GO BACK AGAIN.
