Good Price, excellent breakfast, and location

Hotel Lobby was very impressive and staff was very professional and helpful. Continental Breakfast was the best I have had and well stocked. Our room was clean and the king size bed was comfortable with adequate pillows. The maids maintained the room each day with towels, and accessories on time and professionally. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained. the parking lot has adequate parking, but the side walks and stairs need to be painted as wear and tear are shown. There is a Denny's Restaurant in the Hotel parking lot and easy access to I35. Bottom line, for the price I recommend this hotel. I will stay here again.

Great Location - Other features not so much

My room was in the back of the hotel facing an elementary school. Lot of bells going off and children being loud until about 6 pm. It was annoying, but tolerable. There was "free internet" but the connection kept breaking and was virtually unusable from about 7 pm to 11 pm - when I needed it most. The free continental breakfast was VERY underwhelming. I recommend the hotel because of the room was clean, the location is great, and the price was right.

Pet Friendly Plus +++ Very Nice & Comfortable

Needed an affordable and convenient place for an extended stay while apartment was being made ready. Baymont Inn & Suites graciously accommodated in price, location, and are splendidly more than pet friendly. A schoolyard nearby for dogwalking and restaurants, stores in immediate distance. Hotel Staff very nice and fastidious in help and kindness. Free breakfast is well displayed and plentiful or there's a denny's on site as well. Free wi-fi access is spot on and speedy. Pool area very cute. Rooms clean, comfortable, plentiful in pillows with comfy beds. Felt totally safe walking dog at night on property. Other guests seemed very decent, not riff-raffy. Could definitely use some paint touch-ups here and there, and an in-room microwave/refrig. set would have been helpful...otherwise, a super place for the money. Price for the hotel was sweet! Recommended +++ !!!

Treated with Rudeness and Indifference

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. I had no problems with my stay. I was planning on staying at the hotel again. After checking out of the hotel, I realized, in the afternoon, that I had left an item in my hotel room. I returned to the hotel to see about the item. The man behind the desk, told me that my property had not been turned in by housekeeping and had probably been mistakenly thrown away. I asked if it was possible to check the bedside table's drawer, where I had last seen the item. He said that could not be done because the room had already been rented. I was in a hurry, I decided I would pursue this problem later, so I asked him to call me a cab and he did do that. The next day, I called the hotel to pursue the problem, and the voice on the phone was the same man. I explained the whole incident again and asked if it would be possible for someone to check the bedside drawer, after the new guests had checked out, and to give me a phone call to let me know if it was found, or if it was not found. He reluctantly said he would take note of it. I have never heard from him or the hotel. That was over a week ago. All I wanted was for someone to eventually check for my item. I don't think this was an unreasonable request. If this common courtesy had been done I would have been satisfied with my stay. I have been in the hospitality industry most of my live, and this is not good customer service. You don't treat someone with indifference with an easily corrected problem. I won't ever stay at this hotel or any of it's other locations.

Affordable, good condition, convenient location

I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay, we went on a weekend visit and had no complaints. Free wireless, free breakfast, very affordable, good condition. Front desk person very friendly.

you get what you paid for

We are big readers of reviews, and I am biggest on cleanliness. It was a fine room, no bugs, but in the bathroom there was hair in the shower, a pill on the floor, hair on the vanity. Not real long hairs or anything, but still. So I asked the front desk attendant for 5 towels and just laid them all over the bathroom floor so I didn't have to walk on it. Oh, and I found urine on the toilet. So I went and bought some cleaning stuff and wiped it down. Also, the bed is extremely firm. Good for some, not so good for us.

Excellent Hotel

Our stay was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Our room was clean and well maintained. There were extra pillows on each bed and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast bar was also very nice. It was well stocked and there was a great selection of food.

Excellent Stay

We had traveled almost 1100 miles over night, when we got to Austin we didn't know if we would be able to check in so early. The staff at the hotel was very pleasant, and let us check in well ahead of check in time. This was great considering we had traveled such long hours. I was very tired and extremely happy to know we could check in at the time we did. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable.

This was a good place, for the money!

The room was really good. It had no refrigerator, but the breakfast was a winner! It's north of downtown, and a less desirable area, but traveling alone, I felt safe there.

Needs Major Improvement

This was a complete waste of money! We checked in and checked out the same day! The room smelled like mildew or a dead cat. The door itself look like it was broken into. This was the worst place that I have ever been. Even my bachelor pad in college didn't smell as bad as the room we booked. This place sucked! Don't waste your money!
