Perfect hotel choice. Very close to all of the French Quarter attractions. The rooms were very nice, most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The staff was very freindly and helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 20 of 228Late July 2009 Stay
Clean and comfortable for good price. Lobby/first floor under significant construction. No noise issues in room. Air worked great in the room(important in July). Clean, reccently rennovated bathrooms. Soft beds and flat screen tvs. Easy walking distance to Burbon street, but not in French Quarter. Parked in the basement garage for $11 dollars a day(cheap for the area/summer special). Front desk staff have to raise garage "arm" to let you in and out(you can call from the car or walk in and ask..always was immediate for us/ plus you walk everywhere).Front desk staff very helpful.Rennovation scheduled to be finished by November.

Great Location in the center of the French Quarter wit only a couple short blocks from Burbon St. and Canal St. Beds exceeded my expectations for comfort.

Trip Type: Family Review 22 of 228Great deal
Pretty good hotel. It's still on the renovation, but we got a room on the fifth floor, which cannot hear any noise. Great room and great room service. With the second day price half off and the convenient location in New Orleans,it's a great deal.

The customer service at this hotel was great. Check in was easy and they were very polite. Any time we had questions on where to go or how to get there, they were very helpful. The beds were amazing! They were so comfortable, I wanted to take it home! I would definitely stay at the Baronne Plaza again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 24 of 228Perfect Location
This hotel is a wonderful value. It's not in the quarter, but it's only one block off. Easily within walking distance to Bourbon St. and is within eye sight of Canal St. The neighborhood felt safe, which is important in New Orleans. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again for sure.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 25 of 228Wonderful stay
I have to say that I was not expecting as good of stay as I had. The hotel is under-construction so that is basically the bad. The room was a basic room with two beds and a nice LCD TV. The beds were really nice and comfortable. The location is awesome. It is close but not too close. The staff was very very polite and helpfull. I would stay there again and would suggest to others to stay there.

If you decide to stay at this hotel make sure you understand the parking policy. I was charged for parking and DID NOT park in their gargage and was given the run around about refunding my money. Still waiting for a refund.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 27 of 228Great room for the money
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. However, our first night the air conditioner was broke and our room was very hot. The temperature in N.O. that weekend was in the 100s and the room felt the same way. We complained all day and night and the next morning and nothing was done. We also asked for a new room and were told there were no more availability. Well when the housekeeper came in to clean the room, she felt how hot the room was and contacted the head of housekeeping, Gwen, who changed our room immmediately! We were so grateful to Gwen! The rest of our stay was wonderful once we got our new room. If you ever need anything while staying there, ask for Gwen, she makes things happen!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 29 of 228Renovations in progress
Pros: The Baronne Hotel has very nice rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The hotel is close to everything. It was far enough away from Bourbon Street to avoid the noise, but close enough to get there within minutes. Cons: The hotel is being renovated and it was difficult to find the entrance with all of the construction. The walls were thin so if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. The parking lot is very small and in the hotel basement. Large SUV's or Trucks may not be able to fit.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 30 of 228Nicer than expected
This hotel was in a great location, and walking distance to the French Quarter. It was under renovation, so some areas where not very pleasant to the eye, but my room was AMAZING! The front desk staff was helpful in terms of recommending places to eat. The wireless Internet service wasn't working, so that was quite disappointing. Parking was also a challenge.
