Bahia Pez Vela Resort

Location. The Bahia Pez Vela Resort is located in El Ocotal, Costa Rica, on a secluded ebony-sand beach on the Gulf of Papagayo. The village of Playas del Coco offers deep-sea fishing charters, snorkeling and scuba diving excursions, restaurants, shops, nightlife and casinos three kilometers from the resort. Congo Trail Canopy Tours through the rain forest are 10 kilometers away.

Features. This gated community features a private beach on a crescent-shaped cove. The resort offers an infinity-edge pool overlooking the ocean, a children's wading pool and salsa lessons. Live music is featured on Sundays. Located next to the beachfront pool, the Picante Restaurant & Bar features typical Costa Rica, Mexican and North American style cuisine. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Complimentary coffee is offered in the lobby. Resort amenities include a concierge desk, business services, tour assistance, banquet facilities and laundry services. Spa services are also available at the resort. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Guestrooms. Two-story, three-bedroom villas offer two-and-one-half bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens.
