Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 15Falsely advertised
I feel bad to have to say it but this hotel was extremely disappointing. I would compare it to an overpriced Motel 6. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but in actuality the 1st floor didn't start until the 3rd. So we were really staying on what was the 4th floor with a broken elevator. Luckily we checked in extremely late & only stayed for one night. My pillow smelled bad as if either the pillow case was used or the pillow was just old. Either way I as scared and had to wrap my sweater around my pillow to sleep. Also, the walls in our room were extremely thin and in the morning it felt as if the entire hotel was in my room, taking showers, talking, and all. We stayed here simply as a pit stop to then stay at a friends place, thank goodness it was only for one night. If you appreciate design, have a respectable level of cleanliness, and enjoy privacy then this hotel is not for you

OK location, not too far from most things, they advertzie close to the Picasso Museum this is not the case. I found the hallway resonated with the sound of any door opening or any time the elevator was used. If you are a light sleeper this can be a problem. Staff very freindly and helpful, breakfast was good, included typical breakfast meats, cereals and yogurts.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 15GOOD ROOM FOR THE MONEY
The hotel was great for the price and location. The staff was very nice and helpful. This hotel is one of the few less expensive hotels that offers breakfast in the rate. The breakfast was good although it may not be what other people are used to. The rooms are a little sparse but roomy and the bathrooms were pretty big. We stayed 2 nights before going on a cruise and 1 night after the cruise. The gentleman at the front desk remembered us from the week before and gave us a little nicer room for the last night. The hotel was conveniently located near Las Ramblas and the port and the metro stop was just a half block away. I would probably stay here again when in Barcelona.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 15Bare bones
Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable, but the property itself just wasn't very nice even for the relatively low cost. The same price got us substantially better rooms in Valencia and downtown Madrid. Room service wasn't great (the sheets were not changed during our entire stay), but otherwise the service was OK. Breakfast was terrible, but free... The main redeeming feature was the tiny balcony. Nothing special, but a bit of outdoor space is really nice when your room is cramped.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 15Needs improvement
Great location and price, clean, but otherwise lacking. The window was broken and would not open. The management looked at it and said there wasn´t anything they could do. The AC worked somewhat, so we were able to get by.

The hotel is in a very loud area, not near the picasso museum. Close to the port but again very loud, lots of pan hadleing, and people getting sick on the street.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 15Last minute if desperate
The rooms are a long way from reception which seems to be in another building , first impression was bad , very sparse cheaply done room , no english channel , Internet in lobby 3 Euros for 15min . Breakfast room was like feeding time at the Zoo with that nasty coffee and Juice machine which seems to be popular over there . The only plus is that there is a diner style restaurant attached to the place. and the location is central but a bit dodgey at night .
