Great accommodations and the price is reasonable

My room was the ground floor of the "castle" shown in the picture. The room was decent size, had a king bed, and a large flat screen TV. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. Based on my accommodations, I would recommend this hotel to others. It is only one block to the 44o which leads directly to Old Town, (approx. a 5 minute drive). There are also several places to eat nearby. There was door side parking available.

Very Nice Hotel with helpful employees

The room was very nice and clean. The people that work there are very helpful in directing us where to go (first time in Quebec)and where to park. Will use this hotel again in the near future.

Good place to stay

It's a pretty good place to stay, it's close to Downtown and the hotel itself is good shape. The staff is really kind and they try to help as much as they can. The only thing that caused us trouble is that they close the front desk around midnight, we didn't know and we arrived at 1 am, we couldn't get into our room and we had to stay somewhere else. Next morning I talked with them and they said that they left the key in the mailbox, they offered us to stay next night instead of the one we missed. They were very respectful and tried to help. We stayed there next night.

To Be Avoided

Hotel did not meet expectations. Was in a remote and blighted area east of Quebec City. Staff had search for ice cubes and could only find a small tray. Pool area was a joke, with not much more than a sprinkler. TV couldn't be turned to view from bed. Certainly not worth the money paid.

Just What we Needed

While the hotel is a little out of the city, it is only about a 10 minute drive to the center of Quebec. It is also only about 10 minutes to the Montmercy falls. The room was clean, and reasonably spacious. Parking was free and ample. If part of your traveling expectations include a hotel "experience" then this is not likely the place for you. If you view a hotel as a place to dump your luggage and sleep, this more than fits the bill. Pleasant, clean, convenient.

Great Hotel

Hotel was awesome and very clean. The people were very helpful and polite! It was minutes from downtown Quebec and all of the wonderful attractions that Quebec has to offer!!! I will definitely stay here again!

Great room for the moeny

I was a bit concerned when we called because we were going to be later than 10 pm and they told us if they were not still open they would put the key in an envelope on the door - where were we staying? Turned out to be great! The room was very large, with a small refrigerator, closet, lovely bathroom, and comfortable beds. The hotel is outside of downtown Quebec, but it took us only about 7-10 minutes and we easily found street parking close to were we wanted to go. The price was right, the location was great (between the city and the falls), and the room was fantastic!

Good value

Near the Shrine, the fall, and the old Quebec City. You can find a parking space in Town with reasonable price.
