Location.Atlas Medina & Spa is an opulent hotel with Moroccan-style architecture, situated 500 metres from Marrakech's modern city centre and three kilometres from Djemaa el Fna central square. Marrakech Menara Airport is 10 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Hotel Features.Atlas Medina & Spa is set in a large garden with two outdoor swimming pools surrounded by a patio with loungers and sunshades. Guests can play squash, work out on the fitness equipment, and relax in the health spa with its hammam, saunas and spa tub. The hotel also features an opulent lounge and cigar cellar, a bar and disco, and beauty services available at the hair salon. Practical amenities include complimentary secure parking, a 24-hour front desk, a concierge desk and currency exchange.

Atlas Medina & Spa's restaurant serves international and regional cuisine, with a selection of French and Moroccan wines.

Guestrooms.The 235 guestrooms located on six floors, have opulent Moroccan-inspired decor and balconies with pool or garden views. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial phones, desks and minibars.

Expert Tip. The bustling Djemaa el Fna, three kilometres from the hotel in the medina, is Marrakech's main square and features a market, food stalls and entertainers. Situated at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, the Menara Gardens are one kilometre away, and the French colonial Majorelle Botanical Gardens are four kilometres from the hotel. Getting there.Bus 11 runs to centre of Marrakech every half an hour, although services can be unpredictable. There are taxi phones in the arrival and departure lounges and taxis can be caught near the bus stop. It is recommended to agree the price before commencing the journey. The smoothest way to travel around Marrakech is in one of the fleet of beige-coloured 'petits taxis' for short trips, or for adventures trips further afield, the 'grands taxis', generally battered beige-coloured Mercedes.
